It's only 8 minutes away, but I'd drive an hour for this hometown eatery! It's not fancy but the food and staff are outstanding! I've never gotten food that wasn't hot and tasty. Sometimes it takes longer for service because we locals pack the place. Yes, it can be noisy at times due to lots of people enjoying food and conversations. This is the best liver and onions place for me, goodly portion and delicious sides. The wait staff are outstanding, warm and friendly. A+++++++❤️
Lord y’all we went and ate here today and let me tell you!!!! The food was out of this world good!!! It was around 11:30 and the special was Meatloaf ( best I’ve ever had) then I got the corn, mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese with cornbread and brown gravy!! I’m telling you somebody put some live in that food because it will make your tongue slap your brain out good!
