Fantastic spot with amazing service! šŸ· The pizza is reminiscent of Joe's NYC, which means it's great! šŸ• #Pizza #Wine #Service

Enjoyed a wonderful Sunday afternoon at Lookout Winery! Delicious pizza! Best I’ve had in a long time. Great wine selection and even a wine sampler reasonably priced. Fabulous Mountain Views from the outdoor patio! Highly recommend enjoying pizza with a view at this restaurant. Will be back next time we visit Chattanooga.

This owner needs to stop worrying about getting in keyboard wars with customers over bad reviews and focus on making respectful pizza and wine. They say the pizza is handmade and all ingredients are from Italy tasted like a dijorno pizza cooked in the oven. Little ceasers pizza on the 2nd day is better. The wine comes in communion cups lol. And is absolutely terrible so at least I only had to taste a tiny sip of bad wine lol.

The crappy tables and plastic plates and forks should have been the first warning in this place. They hype up their pizza saying it comes straight from Italy I think that’s total bs. The pizza was straight up cardboard absolutely no flavor in the meat vegetables sauce or crust. It was way over cooked and dry like eating a bojangles biscuit. The wine was way overhyped to they talked about how it’s all handmade was terrible. The owner is also very rude and has major attitude. The only good thing was the view and the nice waitress.

Great views. Great pizza. Great service. Awful wine. Truly tastes like it has spoiled. Between the four of us we tried almost every single wine offered and none of us like anything. When I asked about it I was told these ferment in open air. I know nothing about this, but it makes sense because it tasted like the wine had been left uncorked for days. Highly recommend offering more traditional bottles for purchase and continuing to serve pizza.

ETA: I wish I had read all of the owner’s rude responses to reviews prior to visiting. If I had, I wouldn’t have given them a dime of my money.

Rude owner- I actually didn’t finish my samples. None of us did. Many were poured in the trash. It’s a shame you can’t get past your own ego. It’s no wonder the place was empty when we arrived and only one other couple (who was pouring their samples in the bushes) was there when we left. Have the day (and business) you deserve!

3 stars given because we did not like any of the wines. 3 of us each had a tasting of 6 wines. None of us bought a glass of wine after the tasting. We ordered the Tuscany pizza which was excellent. The winery has excellent views of Nickajack lake. The server was wonderful. I would give the server 5 stars.

Our experience here left us disappointed. My partner and I came here for Valentines Day (my birthday). It was not very crowded. We instantly were seated, the hostess was nice. The tables were clean. By the time our waitress greeted us, the table beside us with a different waitress had already sat down (5 mins after us) ordered a tasting and had been brought their tastings. We ordered our wine tastings, she brought them out and while she was there we ordered our pizza. She did not come back. We also waited 40+ minutes for our pizza. During that time, we did not see our waitress once. We did not get to order any more wine, or anything else we might have wanted. There was a lady setting up for Valentine’s dinners around us while we waited, she asked once what we were waiting on after we sat there for 30 minutes. It was not our waitress that brought our pizza, it was the chef. He was very apologetic and asked us what was wrong and we said we hadn’t see our waitress. By this time we just were ready to leave. We had one of the tastings ($6) removed from the bill as a courtesy.

This place is around 20-25 mins from downtown Chattanooga with nothing to do around it, so it took a very large chunk of time out of our day to wait that long.

The pizza was okay. The wine was very acidic, at least what we tried with our wine flight. If you’re into sweet wines, this is not the place for you. If you’re in a hurry with plans after, this is not the place for you.

I would like to start this review by saying their pizza was really good. Great crust, sauce, excellent sausage and prosciutto. It WENT DOWNHILL FROM THERE. As soon as it got to the wine, we realized we made a mistake. I am no wine connoisseur but good god this wine was awful. It tasted like we were drinking straight moonshine. Didn’t even matter whether you were drinking a Riesling or Cabernet, they burnt the same. We joked with a couple next to us who frequent there from time to time and they said they watch people do the tastings for fun. The Bordogna family needs to stop making wine and stick to pizza.

This is not a fake review -- just not pizza we would go back for. I've left thousands of reviews on Google, none of them fake, and I'm retired, so don't have anything to win. Some people will like this pizza. We thought it was overpriced for what you get. Here is the review: Meh. We went her before Covid and thought the pizza was really authentic Italian. We didn't like the parking lot as it was steep and poorly taken care of. The view from the terrace was nice of Nickajack Lake. We came a second time a few weeks ago, sat outside and bought the most expensive pizza on the menu, the shrimp and sausage pizza. The owner really talked this up. What we got was underwhelming. Granted, it is probably authentic Italian, because they don't like a lot of toppings on their pizzas, but we think for 30plus dollars, the pizza should have a decent amount of toppings and able to taste them. We could not discern shrimp from sausage, and all told there might have been three shrimp on that pizza. It tasted like an appetizer. We left hungry and we aren't big people. We won't be back. Decent experiment, but it's done now.

Our first visit from Alabama. Worth the 45 min ride! The pizza is top notch, closest I’ve had to NJ/NY pizza. Cooked perfect, great under carriage, the flavor! Our server Heather was very informative and attentive. The owner checked on everyone as well, very nice. It was a chilly eve night but the views are so worth it! Give them a try! We will be back! And shout out to Cameron Parker for the recommendation!

I have been coming to this restaurant periodically since 2018 and it never occurred to me to leave a google review. Because this place is INCREDIBLE. It’s locally owned and built into the side of a hill, so yes, there’s concrete (read this in one review like it was a bad thing). But like ?? what are you expecting šŸ˜‚ it’s a parking lot on the side of a hill?!
Anyways - lots of reviews about the wine here. It is SO good. Pairs so well with the authentic Italian style pizza.
Sweet wine is juice. You can buy it at Kroger if that’s what you’re after, but if you want a real authentic Italian cuisine experience (homemade crust made with imported Italian flour, wine made the traditional Italian way, etc), this is the place for you.
I’m still cracking up at all of these negative wine comments šŸ˜‚ my pallet is far from refined but wine is not meant to be super sweet. All of these people mentioning the GA winery tells me all I need to know, as they sell syrup.
Staff, owner, food, drink, everything 10/10 truly. Unless you like syrup sweet wine or are afraid of a concrete parking lot šŸ˜‚šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

We went for Thanksgiving. I didn’t really expect a lot from the winery, but the food was actually wonderful. We had a great experience and bought several bottles of wine to take home as well. And the view is majestic. Luckily we were there at sunset.

Beautiful location, great pizza and our server was very knowledgeable. The wine is different from what I am used to, not sweet but enjoyed a tasting and learning about it.
