Best BBQ around.
Small, simple place with good food and good service.
We were looking for a local place to dine as we were passing through from out of state. Loved it as soon as we drove up. Cool little dive atmosphere. I ordered the pulled pork with beans and potato salad and the hubby ordered the ribs with fried okra and onion rings. Food was delicious and the service was great. We would definitely be regulars if we lived close by.

Whiskey Throttle BBQ is a laid-back restaurant with superb, fast, friendly, and unpretentious service. The atmosphere is very laid back, featuring a nice little bar with big screens and outdoor seating available. The best BBQ includes really good brisket, a great BBQ sandwich with no fat or gristle, and excellent smoked pork. Notable dishes are the loaded potato, the half pound cheeseburger, a brisket platter with massive portions, perfect fried pickles, good fries, and coleslaw. Sides like onion rings and baked beans are excellent. Drinks include a frozen margarita and an over the top bloody Mary. The place is clean, with clean restrooms, and offers very good portion sizes at reasonable pricing.
