Atmosphere was awesome. The meat and cheese tray phenomenal. Husband had the sea bass, could use more flavor, but the quality of the fish was top notch. I had the beef and lamb pasta. Reminded me of pot roast mixed with pasta. It was good, but also a little lacking in the seasoning. Overall good food, great atmosphere.

Great service, drinks, & food! Nice environment too. We loved everything about our experience and our food all came out piping hot, major plus! Every table around us received hot food too, you could see the heat coming off the food.We started with red wine (they have my favorite Chianti!) and the stuffed focaccia bread, which was amazing….almost felt like a stuffed pizza & their pesto on top is divine (it’s super fresh).We then had the chicken parmesan with bucatini (one of my fave noodles & way better than just spaghetti), and the Rotolo. Both entrees were hot & flavorful with the right flavors too.We passed on dessert because we couldn’t finish our entrees and boxed them up to take home. But desserts looked good from what we saw around us!!We will be returning in the future for sure & look forward to it!Vegetarian options: Rotolo was vegetarian with a spinach & cheese stuffing.Parking: Easy parking!

Food was good ! I guess our server at the bar just did not like us. My wife ran out of wine and never got another glass. I had to ask for silverware. It appeared that other people were getting good service but we didn’t.Maybe she did not like our looks. I was not rude and I still tipped 20% but probably won’t go back 3/10/23

This was our second visit to Antica Italia. Both experiences were very good and we were so happy to have a high quality restaurant like this in Hendersonville. Food was very well prepared and beautifully presented. Large portions ... we took some home both times. Service was great. Both times I started with a martini, that was perfectly made, I was happy! They have a stuffed focaccia as an appetizer that is delicious. We tried different entrees both times and everything was really good. Definitely is one of the top go-to restaurants in H'Ville.

Second time in the last month we have been here. The food and atmosphere is amazing. Just wow. First time I had the sausage and pasta, second time the pork. Can't wait to go back and try something else. You really get a feel for real Italian food here.

Six Sippers Strike again!Our sippers group chose Antica Italia this time for our monthly dining adventure. I’ve eaten here once before with just my wife, but I wanted to try it again before I left a review.After my first experience at Antica, I had no interest in going back, but my second experience was much better. The food is definitely good, but i wouldn’t say “great” especially for the price and portion size.I ordered the salmon, which was good, but I was still pretty hungry after, so I ate half of my wife’s parmesan chicken (which was a larger portion, and it was pretty delicious)Service was great! 5-stars! Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable.The seating in the main floor was crowded (which tells me most people tend to like it here), but when it’s time for a trip to the bathroom be prepared to Tetris your way there ?Pro Tip- Reserve one of the private rooms in the front with a few friends (like the picture below) because it’s a much better experience.Overall, I’m happy to have more upscale places to dine in Hendersonville. Antica is a great addition to the growing list of local “finer dining” restaurants.
Just got out of an early dinner, and in short, absolutely fantastic. Traditional Italian flavors from multiple regions in Italy shining brightly. We had the charcuterie plate, I opted for the Sirloin Caponata, and upon hearing the veal special-my fiancé opted for that. The cured meats, cheeses, and accoutrements were stunning. Felt like I was in Italy.Absolutely beautiful presentation, our Pinot noir that followed the margarita were both perfect. Citrus to cut through the meat plate, red wine to compliment the meat. We already are planning our next date night to come try the seafood!Service was absolutely great! Swift, personable, and accurate. As a former server/bartender and someone who is 2nd generation from Foggia, in Puglia, Italy-I feel so lucky this place is so close!It looked like they were on a wait when we left, and it’s their one year anniversary, so best of luck!!

The service was great and they even squeezed us in without a reservation on Valentine's Day weekend. Hendersonville definitely needed this fine dining experience!

I have been frequenting Antica since shortly after they opened, and this review is long overdue. Each dish is delicious and every overall meal is exceptional. The food and service are consistent and excellent. Kudos to Shawn for the culinary experience and the entire team for making sure each meal is special. Favorites: focaccia, swordfish, meatballs, pork cotoletta, chicken skewers = there is seriously not a bad dish here.
