Casa Vieja, my second Mexican dining experience, proved delightful. During a lunch visit, I savored tasty dishes amidst a well-balanced selection, all at reasonable prices. The service was commendable, and the clean ambiance added to the overall satisfaction. Consistency in both flavor and cleanliness enhanced the dining experience, making it a reliable choice.
We came at lunch (afternoon) on a Wednesday, so it was slow. The host sat us on the edge near a window, per my request, and was super nice about it. Very welcoming. They brought chips and salsa (and 3 little bowls for people to put some salsa into for themself if they wanted). The salsa was great! I ordered the fajitas and my mom the Casa Vieja fajita (lunch menu). The food tasted great and flavorful as well. I like how thinly/small cut the fajita stuff was because it makes it easy to eat with or without tortillas. The staff checked in occasionally but not like every 5 minutes, which was nice for me personally.
