Very hungry after a long drive and we were very disappointed at the "business model" of not having table service. This is not a fast food restaurant. We ordered food at a kiosk situated where the person sitting next to it at the bar had absolutely no personal space or elbow room. We had to order every beer every time at the end of the bar so we couldn't even combine the tip appropriately to signify good service for bartenders. (they were very nice but unappologetic for the very poor set up of the restaurant). Here is the kicker, FOOD NOT EVEN MADE ON PREMISES, and with no wait staff, no one noticed our food wasn't out after 90 min, then after asking, the terrible food came out one thing at a time. OMG, never go back.

I really want to like this place but cannot. If you like screaming kids running all around then you'll love it and that's on the parents . Been that way every time I've been there.

For a “dog friendly” brewery- this was NOT dog friendly. QR codes on the outside table say to “order beer inside the bar”. I came here alone with my pup and carried her inside from the patio to order. As soon as I stepped inside a rude bartender snapped at me and she said “NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE BAR” and told her that the QR codes say to order inside… she said “I guess that’s okay then and walked away”. Ordered a beer, sat outside- no water bowls for dogs or servers outside at all. Very disappointed

An absolutely stunning place to visit. The staff is friendly, engaging and talkative (if you want to), the place is clean, well designed and open, and there are several events throughout the week that keep you coming back. They were even nice enough to give me a thorough tour of the place, showing me the process of making the beer, and all their storage and organization. Now, the beer itself;The beer is phenomenal. Half-Batch has somehow made something fresh and exciting in the vast, well-explored world of beer, and have managed to create a menu with lots of choices that all taste interesting. The pepper beer, for example, is a peculiar experience, that engages and challenges your pallette in the best way. I didn't personally like it, even when a lot of others do, but I still find it great that they are experimenting with flavor. The staff also presented me with lots of taste tests, so I could try most of the stuff on the menu.All in all, great place that anyone should visit if they are in the area.

We've tried many of their beers- a couple handfuls of times and just aren't impressed. We want to be... but the beer quality is nowhere near as good as their competition in town (Tailgate), around Nashville in general, or any other towns that excel at making beer.
