Upon walking in the door, I was welcomed by a very sweet lady. I ordered the catfish, the meal came with white beans, cole slaw, hush puppies and really good homemade tarter sauce. I had read the reviews so I knew I needed to save room for a fried pie. So I boxed up half of my meal and now back to that fried pie, I ordered the coconut!!! Had the chicken and livers. They were mild and some of the best I've had in a long time. Hand battered. My wife had the Papusa. It was good as well. Brian, the owner, was very friendly. We will definitely be going back.
We are visiting from out of town and stopped in here for lunch - so glad we did! Fantastic little spot, amazing service, and delicious food. We will be back to try breakfast! Make sure you save room for dessert!
