McAlister's Deli

My order is wrong every time! This time I ordered potato soup and received broccoli and cheese. Last time there was no chicken on the chicken salad.

I just want to say two things. After my brother’s funeral, I stopped in to get an ice tea for the long drive home. I don’t know why but the server gave me free tea. I didn’t tell her my situation before hand, maybe I just looked wiped out. That act of kindness was monumental to me. I told her the server afterwards and how that act of kindness was so meaningful. I’d like to thank the person who hired this server. The server had heart and depth.

The second thing is my mother lives at Clarendale right behind the restaurant. Macalisters is so handy to grab a sandwich and soup here and there. We can always count on it being good.

I've been hearing a lot of good things about the sandwiches here, so I decided to check it out. However, the reviews on how great the sandwiches are don't mention how hard the place is to get into. It's on a tiny parking lot on a busy street, requiring a hair-pin turn just to get on the property. I also recommend parking on the side because there isn't enough room in front to park or turn around. That said, the interior is more of a sit-down place than another Subway. The staff was very friendly and cordial, but it does take longer to get your owner if you want a carry-out which is what I wanted. You can request some things to be left off if you want. The place is more deli than fast food with tooth picks holding the sandwich together. I had to go searching for them, finding at least eight of them. I didn't see enough to impress me, but I'm sure a more sit-down crowd would appreciate it.

This was my first time going to McAlister's and I absolutely love it there's no complaints at all everybody was super nice the food was delicious and a service was awesome the atmosphere was amazing now I will say though I wish the parking lot was bigger because I had to park across the street haha but I know it's not their fault or anything it's a Sunday church got out at 12:00 it's lunch time so it happens other than that I mean it was an absolute blast and if you want a sandwich if no other sandwiches satisfy you I will definitely try McAlister's

It's perfect if you like baked potatoes, sandwiches, and soups.
Update 2025: Prices are too high now.
A paid over $20 for a single sandwich with a side and drink.

The young lady who was running food this afternoon, with the dark red hair and bangs, needs a serious attitude adjustment.

I wouldn’t leave this comment unless it really upset my 4 year old, you do not slam food in front of a little girl, especially one that thanked you and you didn’t even acknowledge her.

I will be back and I will let her know personally .

On the other hand, food was great as always and the line was moving quicker than ever !

I ordered the Spud Max. In my opinion, it was more like Dud Max. Not one of the toppings could be mixed into the potato. It was like ordering a plain baked potato with cheese and ham on the side. They did serve it with some butter, but it wasn't hot enough to melt the butter. At best, it was Luke warm. A baked potato should be served steaming hot. I should see steam rising. This felt like something they prepped yesterday and didn't serve, so they "heated" it up for me.

I had the pleasure of having my meals prepared by Kam, every sandwich made with nothing but love. Absolutely outstanding work and service by all employees but especially my favorite, Kameron. Amazing experience every time 🤗
