My name is Paul Ragnoli. I’m from the Detroit, MI. area. Recently, I visited the Sam’s Club in Hendersonville, TN. to buy a hat bc it was raining while we were there. I went to the clothing dept. where I approached an elderly, smiling lady named Marvis who was folding clothes! I asked her where the hats were and she said they don’t sell hats there and directed me to Walmart, just down the road. I struck up a conversation with her and we talked for quite a while. Marvis is 84 years old and is a very intelligent, hard working and dedicated employee. Imagine the experience she brings to the table!?Having been a former manage, as I was, we talked about workplace environment and employee / management interaction. We talked about how nice it is to have the manager / supervisor recognize you and say good morning or good afternoon, whatever the case may be. Teamwork makes everyone successful, and knowing your team mates names and their personal story lends a sense of personal worth to the workers. After all, kindness is free and the feeling it gives to your employees is immeasurable! I always treated my employees with respect, a sense of appreciation and worth and never took them for granted. Although Marvis didn’t spell it out in so many words, I sensed their could be some room for improvement in this area. I thoroughly LOVED talking to that lady! She is witty, smart, and funny! If I wasn’t in a rush to meet my son for dinner, I would have loved to pick her brain some more. So, if anyone in management is reading this, please stop by and show some respect for someone who has put in the time on this Earth and knows a thing of two. Just a smile and a hello and a “How are you doing Marvis?”. It would really make an elderly lady feel happy. Anyone who works there, please stop by and tell her that Paul from Detroit (who was riding in a handicapped scooter) will never forget her. And of someone could text me her address to my phone (586-206-7731), I would love to send her a card to show my appreciation! Thank you in advance!

Good staff and a huge selection.
clean and easy to shopping
Yes, I do! It is close to my house. And normally has what I am needing. And I definitely like the Scan & Go!! It IS THE BEST!!
Was there shopping tonight, an they close at 8pm as posted in tiny print on the door. That being said we arrived there around 6:45pm, was getting everything we needed, an a absolutely rude lady came up to us saying “we closed at 8, you need to get out...” mind you we was literally walking towards the register to check out. She repeated her self to another employee saying “I don’t mind telling these people to get out”.. like a simple we are closing now, please make your way to the front would have done. I really hate rude people.
The insanity of not allowing people into the store when there is an ongoing exit of people leaving is a major disservice to your customers. I know about Covid-19 a d the concerns. But, everyone is masked! I was coming to primarily pick up meds and a handful of items. I had to wait incessantly and impatiently at the doors because there was apparently no accounting for those leaving. As a result of this incompetence I was forced to wait an additional half hour for the pharmacy
Good inventory and friendly service.
I’ve visited this Sams multiple times. Each time there are never enough handicapped scooters to use. If there are some available they are all out in the store and parking lot with zero charge left in them. This past Thursday we went and I asked two store employees why they weren’t taking the dead scooters to the front to charge and both times they said they were busy. Upon leaving I asked a manager who was getting carts from the parking lots why she wasn’t making sure the sco

Terrible customer service at the tire place. Went it as I bought my tires there and I had a nail in it and they blew a hole in my tire and put a donut tire on and said my tire will be here in 3-5 days and I asked what do I do if something happens to the donut and they said it wasn’t there problem worst service ever will not be going back!!
