The server was great kind, and very helpful, she helped me know what to avoid due to my gurd, I enjoyed the food we ate, however the oysters were abit off in texture, I'm not sure why maybe just a weird batch during our visit. I love oysters and can usually eat a bunch especially fried oysters but these the breading kept falling off of and they were oddly slimy. Everything else was amazing and tasted great the atmosphere felt welcoming and cozy, yet also hip and wirh sea vibes, and again the staff was very kind and helpful. I usually am very self conscious when it comes to my gurd so getting help and her treating it seriously was very helpful.

Our server Maggie was phenomenal! She explained everything on the menu plus their specials for the day. She really helped make our lunch enjoyable. Our food was outstanding! We will definitely be back soon!
My wife, infant daughter, and I just dined with Smashing Crab in Hendersonville. From the initial greet from our server, Ramsie, to the end of the experience, we were thoroughly impressed. As a Senior leader in the hotel F&B industry, Ramsie followed steps of service perfectly and explained in detail my many questions about the menu and potion sizes as we were there for the first time. The lobster roll was cooked to perfection and the Cajun fries were delicious. The only flaw would be the quality and appearance of the shrimp pasta. The cost should reflect the dish. Nevertheless, we will definitely be back soon to try more of the menu and hopefully share our experience with others.
It was absolutely amazing food and the server Maddie was very knowledgeable, versed in the menu items, and personable! Will definitely eat there again!
Our first experience at this restaurant. Met the owners on a walk and this is why we are here to give it a try. We aren't big seafood people. We had great service (Collin) and the food we selected was wonderful. If you like seafood give them a try. We will definitely be back.

At Ultium Cells this place was posted up. Never tried it before and I thought, why not? First of all the flavor was definitely worth it. My only issue is the shrimp was lightly breaded and would tear off ever time I dunked it into the cocktail sauce. Other than that this was definitely a good meal. $20 with a coke. The food came out piping hot! Just the way I love it!

The staff were very nice and showed to have team work towards their service. The food was delicious. Big fan of the sauce that came w the catfish plate. Now this is all based on a night that appeared to be rather slow, but I believe they would maintain this during the busier times.

It was the start of a very cold spell, the day before Christmas Eve. We should have already been home, and so should have the Staff! Our Server was just great! Food ( calamari, red fish, & and gumbo) was as hoped for!Apologies for being part of the reason you were open that night... but your(our) server caused us to want to come back!

this was my first & last time going here. the food was well overpriced & not worth it. i went my entire meal without having a drink, & waited for over 20 mins for my food to even make it to the table. the food was bland & not worth $30 for a shrimp pasta (they didn’t even fully devein the shrimp, we had to do it ourselves). management was rude & disrespectful, telling me “that’s just how it’s made & i should’ve known better”, even after having said it was my first time there. my server was fantastic, everything else was just awful.
The selection and pricing was great, but on the night I visited our food was overcooked. That made the shrimp a bit rubbery and the crab dry and deflated. We were able to doctor it up by requesting drawn butter and sliced lemons to get our seafood craving satisfied. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. The host proceeded to seat large groups all around my small party despite the dining room being nearly empty when we arrived. Those guests quickly proceeded to being over-served and got loud and had small kids running around their tables. For me, the price point and the atmosphere didn't match. If I'm going to put that much down for dinner I want to have a higher level of service and comfort. Maybe if I'd known what to expect I'd have had a better experience, so I hope this helps other first-timers.

The food was amazing and our waitress was tha bomb! Can't wait to come back next time we're in town!!
Looks nice from the outside and it's clean, but the interior lacks character. We visited the cinema opposite and called in for an afternoon meal. I gave the restaurant three stars because in fairness, I never saw or tried the boils or pastas and they might actually be good, but my own experience was seriously underwhelming. There were no images or useful descriptions on the menu, so I couldn't gauge quantity or style. I opted for a crab basket (soft shell crab) and it was awful. What a waste of money. A very small crab, minus claws, deep fried on a bed of Cajun fries. I got less than a single fork full of slimy meat out of it and feel as though I paid through the nose for the privilige. Maybe you can eat the whole thing. I had no idea, but two bites would have seen to that and I didn't fancy it.On the upside, Thomas, our server, was doing a good job and earned his tip, but overall, I was very disappointed.
We got lucky with this find. Brixx was busy so we crossed the street to find this gem. It was a quiet meal, only with sounds of pleasure. We both got crab cakes and 2 baskets. The portion sizes were good. It came with a small side of coleslaw, but definitely needed more to break up the heaviness of the fried food. The service was friendly and the atmosphere comfortable. A place worth going back to.
Absolutely atrocious for what they’re charging! We were sat at a table and had waited there for 30 minutes, JUST for someone to give us a drink and to take our orders.Once someone got around to taking our orders they were telling us they were out of things and that it’s be a minute for that to be done. So we ordered something different. When they brought us our food and drinks they had forgotten one of our drinks and didn’t bring out half of what we had ordered. They didn’t check on us at all so there was no one to talk to, not to mention it was one man for the whole night waiting on tables. I genuinely felt so bad for him, he did his absolute best. Which I appreciated! But for whomever is over this restaurant they need to do better and not leave their crew members so severely short staffed. Besides that though, the food they gave us was skimpy! They didn’t give us any silverware, they gave us everything in a basket and we didn’t have plates to share things on, we ate our meal on napkins. I ordered a side of potato salad which came in a small paper bowl that you’d see at schools it was soggy LOL!!!!At the end of the night we paid $55!!!! It was soooooooo not worth it! We could have gone to Olive Garden and spent $55 on something worth eating. This felt like very overpriced captain d’s!!!!I work in fast food and felt sorry for the workers, genuinely. But this place is going down hill fast and is on a fast track to just getting shut down. I don’t think you should be the center of attention in Indian Lake if you’re not serving people in an adequate way. Why have overprice food when you cannot even hold up to the expectations! It’s ridiculous
Everything was fantastic. Food was delicious, atmosphere was light and welcoming, staff were attentive, kind and punctual, and the clientele is courteous. Keep in mind: I did eat lunch here on a Sunday, so my experience may not correlate with that of someone who enjoyed a Friday night here. Regardless, it was arguably the best southern seafood establishment I've been to thus far.
