Expensive, $$$. Food is decent. Sometimes more fresh than others. Price doesn't match the amount of food you get.

Hands down one of the best barbecue brisket burger, and pulled pork nachos I’ve ever ate. 10/10 recommend. So juicy and tender. Will definitely come back.

This style of BBQ took me to Southern Texas, where I grew up. Great smokey flavors in the chicken and moist brisket. The sides were on point. Mac and cheese was great. The corn casserole was fantastic. The beans were sweet beans, which I tolerate but prefer BBQ beans. Just different pallet, but tasted good! Overall, if you're on the hunt for Texas BBQ, this is a great option.

Friendly staff. I had their special today. Pork burnt ends. It wasn't very good. Tasteless. I was hoping to sauce on the table would help but it was bland as well. Prices are good. I just don't know if I will come back. I may try other menu items.

This local place is my go to for great BBQ. It’s also run but a great guy and his family. They’ve consistently done a phenomenal job of delivering high quality food with fantastic service for my family and my client events. They go above and beyond to make sure you’re happy. Couldn’t ask for a better hometown place than Meat Sweats. Huge thank you to Martin and his family.

Brisket, Potato Salad & Baked Beans.Helpful Staff, nice clean est.Good but not great food.Honestly, it’s a matter of proximity. If your an hour or more from location, might want to stay more local. Did enjoy the food. Nice Bark & Smoke Ring. Little dry. 2 kings of sauce on table Hot and Sweet

Ordered the brisket nachos which came on store bought nacho type chips. Staff were kind for just opening. Unfortunately two in my party got sick from the brisket platter, we did eat as soon as they opened so it could have been a one off experience.

I got brisket tacos, and he had the BBQ sandwich. The meats were delicious, but the sides were a bit bland. Service was fast and friendly. Overall, it was a good experience!
Food was good but I wouldn't call it spectacular but it was good. I had the pulled pork and chicken, both were good. The sides were slaw and the beans, both were ok but light on spices and a little bland. Staff was friendly and the inside was nice and clean.

Absolute best barbecue place I've ever been to in my life, and I've been in tons. Everything here is over the top, including the sides. You're going to have a tough time choosing two sides. Brisket burrito was awesome. Highly recommend.

My fiance and I came here the day before Labor Day to give them a try for the first time, since there are so many great reviews. It was the worst decision that we could've made when it came to choosing a BBQ Spot. It didn't smell like BBQ when we walked in the door. I understand it's a TexMex restaurant but someone needs to go back to the drawing board. The meat was so dry that when she cut our Brisket slices she had to saw at it. We purchased pulled pork, brisket, Cole slaw and baked beans the sides were the only thing decent on our plate. The pulled pork was super dry, the bbq sauce taste good, I just didn't care for the texture Meatsweats have to do better. We are in the south this is not acceptable. I don't know if it was overcooked, but the meat most certainly did not have any flavor to it. I am so disappointed. ???

Overall meat sweats was good & there's a good chance we'll return the next time we're in Hendersonville. The chopped brisket sandwich is classic and very good. The burrito is massive & more than enough for two people to share. The biggest disappointment is the menu said the burrito was served with chips & queso. It was served with chips, but the "queso" was ballpark concession stand yellow "cheese". The burrito was very tasty! The corn casserole is a favorite. Service was good, but beware by 6 on a weeknight they're pretty much out of a lot of their staples!

This place has been on my list of local spots to try for some time. My husband and I stopped in to order meals to go. We both got the two step which included two choices of meat with two sides. We figured we would order a few different things so we'd have a variety of items to try out. We got the brisket, the pulled pork, the chicken and beef sausage. For our sides we got the Mac and cheese, corn casserole, cowboy stew and baked beans. What was good: the brisket and beef sausage were tasty. We also enjoyed the corn casserole and cowboy stew. Not so great: the chicken and pulled pork while flavorful were pretty dry and tasted like they had been sitting out awhile. The Mac and cheese was practically flavorless. The baked beans were okay but nothing to rave about. Overall it wasn't terrible but not exactly a place we're dying to go back to.
