Picked up a couple of plates for lunch today.. fantastic!! My husband lived in Memphis and said it was the best bbq he’s had in 25 years of living here. Try the beans and potato salad outstanding! So glad to see some options other than fast food here in Goodlettsville!

THE BEST BBQ I HAVE EVER HAD. I’ve been spotting Kennedy by the side of the road, every-time I come home to visit. Well, my husband and I recently moved back, and we saw him today. We had to stop and we are SO happy we did!He was a total sweetheart! The food was absolutely outstanding; the quality of the meat, beans, and coleslaw were a throwback to when I was a kid. The sauce was also a very big treat, as it was sweet yet tangy.I highly recommend stopping and supporting him. He’s super-gifted and his food shows his passion! Thank you, Kennedy!

Traveled all around in Nascar for over 15 years and ate at some of the so-called Famous Biggest BBQ restaurants in the country but am telling you this guy Kenny Dodson is the best ever. Nobody even comes close. The smokees flavor is something out of this world it's bold but yet mild. You never had anything so good until you try this. This is the only place now that me and my girlfriend will eat. BBQ at. My girlfriend even asked him where did he learn to cook like that. It's absolute ly amazing

Baaaby I haven't had anything I didn't love yet!!!! Hometown got the best bbq hands down. I try to catch everytime he comes home. You can tell he loved what he does and it comes through in his bbq. Loved the brisket. Very flavorful and tender. The pull pork is awesome. You will love whatever you choose!!! Tree is doing an wonderful job! Keep up the great work hometown!! Ⓜ️❤

Absolutely delicious. I'm 7 months pregnant and this barbeque really hit the spot. So flavorful. Rich and smokey and a hint of sweetness with the sauce. Potato salad was fantastic also. The fam went out, got pulled pork, pork chop sandwich, and a ribs platter. Picked up a couple of bottled drinks at the gas station next door, then hit up Sanders Ferry Park just down the street for an amazing picnic dinner. The owner/chef of Tree Smoking Hogs was extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. We will definitely be returning!!
