“Tried this place today after the gym and I’m so upset I haven’t tried it before. I usually dislike tofu but their tofu is on point! I bought a Junior bowl as a huge meal isn’t what I was looking for and it’s the perfect amount for a late lunch. With a side of edamame and a drink you can’t beat the cost and quality. The staff was so nice while I was waiting. Establishment is clean and a good place to sit and eat. They even have outside seating. I ordered online, super smooth process.“

“My first fine dining restaurant for Asian/hibachi style cuisine and hands down worth every penny spent every single time I've ever been there was above and beyond expectations and would no doubt recommend this place as the number One of its kind in Nashville and Middle Tennessee. The atmosphere, culture, service, entertainment, and some of the best fine dining cuisine of any kind I've ever had in my entire life. Goten is the only other competition that comes close to Kobe Steakhouse in Nashville for sure. Will not disappoint I assure you. I've lived in Nashville almost all of my life and I have never once heard a negative experience from anyone I know that is a native Nashvillian or a tourist. Worth the visit. My one suggestion would be make a reservation well in advance to have most desired time and date.
Kid-friendliness: I personally would not bring young children to the restaurant as it could be an experience that young babies and toddlers would in some ways make for an uncomfortable dinner bc much of it is an entertainment show so to speak and usually they will combine parties and make a larger group sized party that will sit either on the ground or in a raised top box and seated around the hibachi grill as they cook they put on a magnificent show and dazzle the customers. I have 3 children of my own and I understand children have a right at any age to be in a restaurant with their family but in my opinion I would wait until kids are about 7 or 8 years old not only for the rest of the customers well being and ability to enjoy the performance but also until children are of a certain age they themselves really won't appreciate the beautiful display of skill and the awe of how amazing the whole experience really is. This is Just totally based on my personal opinion but I just think everyone involved would appreciate not hearing a screaming baby or toddler in terrible twos throwing a tantrum but obviously that could apply to an unruly intoxicated adult as well. Anyways enjoy your time there it is well worth the visit and I would charge your phone for photos to save memories of the occasion.“

“Food is incredible!! Service is great! We tried the hamachi, crispy tuna, and salmon - all excellent. Salmon was our fave. We also ordered dumplings, truffle Mac n cheese and kimchi risotto. The kimchi risotto is a must try! Drinks were great too. Will be back!“
