I've been a customer here for years as we live right down the street. Today I placed an order online and went to pick it up and they said they didn't receive my order. I proceeded to show them my bank statement to prove I was charged for it and they said they would have to recharge me if I wanted them to make my order and that the payment I made would "probably fall off in a few days" but if it didn't then I would have to call and they would then talk to the bank and help me dispute the charge. I'm not jumping through hoops to recieve my pizza so I politely left and said I would dispute it with the bank. The food is good here but the customer service is awful. As I said I've been a customer here for years and I'm very disappointed as the food is good but I won't be returning.
Response to owner or manager: After waiting a few days the charge is no longer pending. The charge did go through and was not a billing error. I now have to dispute it with my bank. Maybe work on your website. I don't recommend anyone to use it. The right thing to do would have been to make the pizza I paid for but instead of serving thier customers they choose to distrust them and then save face on the review and say that my billing information didn't match. I'm severely disappointed in this place as I said i have been a customer for a very long time.

First and foremost, they prioritize making pizzas for customers who pick up their orders themselves or dine in. If you order through Uber Eats or DoorDash, be prepared to wait a very long time. They simply don’t care about orders from these platforms—trust me, I’ve noticed this for the fifth or sixth time already.
I’m sharing my review from both the perspective of an Uber Eats courier and a customer. This is not the first time that I’ve had to wait more than 20-25 minutes for an order at your establishment—on top of the 10-15 minutes it takes to get there.
In this particular situation, the drive to your restaurant took about 10 minutes, and after arriving, I sat in my car for another 7 minutes. So it’s not possible that you had only just received the order the moment I walked in.
Additionally, when I order delivery from your restaurant, the wait time is extremely long. Other couriers have also mentioned that they had to wait a long time for their orders to be ready.
I’m writing this so that people ordering from these platforms know what to expect. I also want to ask you not to tell couriers that the order will be ready “soon” when they actually have to wait 20-30 minutes, especially when they’re only earning $5 for that delivery. I don’t think you would work for 40 minutes for $5, so please be honest about the wait time.
That way, couriers can decide whether to wait or cancel the order and keep working. Please don’t mislead couriers about wait times—we are people too.
I hope you hear me. Thank you.

Pizza, was great. The portion of fries you get for $5 was criminally small.
Sever and staff were great, only complaint is about that potion size.

Been here twice. The first time we got carry out I had spaghetti Rose had white sauce pasta and Aaron had a pizza. The spaghetti was ok pasta was cooked perfectly the sauce was a little Bland could have used some more Italian seasonings. The white sauce pasta was perfectly cooked and rose said the sauce was very good. Aaron's pizza had a nice crust a decent amount of toppings and nicely browned cheese he said it was a bit Bland and neither the pepperoni or the sausage were very sharp. Over all compared to some of the other pizza in the hermitage area it was better than some we've had. As a side note they we had the cannoli and the lemonchello cake and both were exelent.
Our second visit was just Rose and I we decided to give them another try dine in dinning in gave us some insight as to why the food was only ok and a little Bland.
We were seated fairly quickly by the guy at the cash register with menus at a table of two tables for 2 pushed together and he left to go work the cash register. About 5 minutes later a girl (seemed like she was supposed to be the actual waitress) dropped off two plastic glasses and straws and left with no explanation. Looking at the menus we figured out why the glasses were left at the table they have a very small self serve fountain station with free refills for 2.75 that had nothing we wanted. We had now been seated over 10 minites watching the 2 pizza guys one making pies and the other working the ovens while the girl stood talking to and watching the guy working the register. At this point there were only two tables dining in and one was leaving so we were the only diners there. So now we've been seated for a little over 15 minutes we have not yet been waited on while the waitress has been watching the cash register guy work and wandering around talking to the pizza oven guy and roaming around the back kitchen area. The line at the carryout register ended and the guy came over and took our drink order Rose had a lemon water and I had ice tea both bottled out of their cooler in the corner he got and brought our drinks and then he took our orders.
Hoping for more flavorful food instead of just pasta and plain sauce I ordered spaghetti with extra charge meat sauce and extra charge meatballs and Rose ordered fruitdemar and a salad both meals come with garlic knots. 5 minites later the waitresses brought the salad and the garlic knots out and huffed oh I thought he left plates and went and got us a couple of plates and silverware and left to go back and talk to the guy at the cash register again. The garlic knots came in nice baskets so we really didn't need the plates so we put those on the other table along with the unused glasses. We finished the garlic knots and Rose finished her salad and a few minutes later the guy at the cash register had finished again so the waitress went to the kitchen and brought out our food it was warm but not hot so it had obviously been sitting waiting for at least a little while, while she was standing around talking she had to ask who got what because she had no clue dropped off the food without so much as a do you need anything else and went back to talking to the cash register guy and the pizza guy. We ate our meals decided to take some home so we had room for desert we sat at the table with leftover off to the side obviously finished and waited it became a little bit of a game waiting to see how long it would take before the waitress bothered to see if we wanted anything else she had never come back to see if everything was ok or if we needed drink refills or anything she dropped off the food and stood around talking with her back to the dining room. We gave it 15 minutes and I finally walked up the the register and interrupted her to tell them we wanted two pieces of lemonchello cake. I watched her take the two pieces out of the cooler and walk back to the kitchen about 10 minutes later she brought them to the table we had to ask for new forks and waited another 5 minutes for the forks. When we finished we got

The greek salad I ordered was fresh and tasty. Very disappointed in the pizza. Limp and not very flavorful. Brought the leftover pizza home to reheat in the oven and that made it more limp. Just not very good. It's not a full service restaurant so I don't really understand the need to ask for tips when paying. Just my opinion.

I wanted a deep dish pizza. Salvo's promised a deep dish Sicilian "Supreme" pizza. But there's no way to select the crust. I ended paying over $30 for a typical crust pizza. Warning: You can't assume a Supreme pizza is a thick crust. Disappointing. You need to speak to a person. Don't rely on ordering online.

I just tried Salvo’s Pizza for the first time, and it was a great experience! There was fettuccine Alfredo, and it was creamy and delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors. The pasta was cooked just right and had that homemade touch.
A big shoutout to the staff for the outstanding service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Salvo’s Pizza is a gem for anyone craving authentic Italian flavors. The pizzas are fantastic, especially the Margherita, which boasts fresh ingredients and a perfect crust—crispy outside and soft inside. The vibe is cozy, and the staff are friendly, making you feel right at home. Whether you're dining with family or grabbing a casual bite, Salvo’s is a must-visit!
Also I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Adam, he was very helpful and delightful and someone great to talk to. He made the food so good, I was going to get more and more! Awesome staff and I love going to Salvo’s
