I love this place and their food is incredible, but I was really disappointed in my recent experience. I have a friend who loves Thai, but can't have msg, so doesn't get it often. I specifically called ahead of time and was told they didn't use msg, so she was really excited. When we got there, the sushi chef was out for a family emergency, which isn't anyone's fault, but eliminated the back up plan. We asked again just to be safe and found out they DO...
Super chill seafood joint — staff were friendly and on the ball, service was quick without rushing you, and you could tell they actually care about quality. Left feeling satisfied and not ripped off, which is rare these days !
Umami’s food is delicious — best Thai cuisine in Nashville! Will definitely be back to try that Flaming Tiger Roll.
