Chicken was dry as well as the corn bread taste stale and the brisket was fat one piece of meat and almost half was fat the girl who answered said there is nothing they can do she thinks th3 food was just fine even though she said the corn bread is like that and the chicken is dry unless you get the dressing with it that's horrible

We came for dinner last night and paid $85 for dinner for 5 of us. This was not a problem till they brought out 2 killer potatoes with brisket . They were both smaller size potatoes . They had nothing killer about them but the $14 price. I did mention it to the cashier and she said the owner made them. We ate them and left but if you want a killer potato 🥔 this is not the place.

First time stopping in on my way to Chester Frost. My whole family loved their meals. The only thing that I didn't particularly love was the okra tasting like it has sugar in the breading. Don't get me wrong, it was still delicious, just wasn't expecting it and personally love it fried in a traditional batter. The girls up front at register were very polite and beamed with a positiveness about them that you don't find often. They had on Christian themed shirts and radiated something Christ-like in their presence. Nice to see young folks like that. Service went smoothly and quickly. Everyone ate everything off their plates. Even had to order coconut cake to go. Haven't found a coconut cake so similar to how my aunt always makes one and it was a nice treat. Will be back when I am in the area.

I've been coming here for years. The food is wonderful however if you are going to have it posted that tacos are $10.30 on Monday but that not your actual price then you need to fix it. That is false advertisement. Fix your sign please or honor your price. Also please don't get an attitude when it was pointed out to you.

We ordered online today for pickup. We went through the drive thru, the woman read off our order, which was correct what she read. However, when we got home with the food, we were missing brisket on a three meat combo that was $28. The other two parts of the combo were little pieces of chicken tenders and a sad piece of catfish. I’ve been to this place many times over the years, and they have messed up other orders, and I usually just shrug and deal with it. However, for the price of this combo to not get the main big meat and the rest to be a sad excuse for a portion, my son went back to let them know with a picture of the box of what we got. They have a sign that they do not give refunds and you have to bring the food back with you for them to fix their mistake. NO EXCEPTIONS. Well, if you have to put that sign up, then perhaps you are making that many mistakes.
In the end, the OWNER is there, said they did put the brisket in there and so essentially called us liars. No refund on a very expensive plate that did not have the main part of it, but they sent him out with some brisket, even though he apparently believes we are lying about the whole thing. My son did not get pictures of his plate and my plate which who would think you would even need that? We will never return again and I will advise anyone I come across that this restaurant is less than it used to be. If you need a good BBQ joint that is nice and helpful, Off the Grill has been our go to lately. They were closed, hence how we ended up at Choo Choo to put the last nail in the coffin of this relationship.

We ordered from Choo Choo BBQ for a group of 25 yesterday and were so impressed. The team was prompt and ready on time, polite, carried everything nicely packaged to my car, and the food was delicious- pork, chicken, baked beans, potato salad, slaw and banana pudding- all so good!! We will be back.

This location has gone very downhill over the last year. The drive thru speaker has been broken for months. I waited 25 minutes today in the drive thru behind one car until I decided to pull off. Do not offer a drive thru if you cannot provide food in a timely manner.
First visit for lunch. Got BBQ plate, meat was moist needed sauce for flavor, baked beans was like pork n beans, slaw was good, and the potato & onions side was good. Order at counter and they bring to table.

This place has really gone downhill. A few months ago a friend and I got sick from eating there. Decided to give it one last try. Not good. Chicken was dry and hard. Green beans mushy and warmed over. No more salad bar. It's gone. Everything was average to unacceptable. Won't be going there again. Much better BBQ choices these days would be Edley's, Jim 'N Nicks and Buddy's.
