Excellent authentic Mexican restaurant. I'd give 10 stars if I could. You know they are doing something right when the whole parking lot is completely full just after lunch. The chili Colorado, fajitas are fantastic!

Had a disappointing experience at El Fogon, previous visits there had good.
They were busy and didn't appear to have enough staff on hand. I had to ask someone to come take our order, nearly 10 minutes after we got the menus. It took another 20 minutes for the food to come out.
The quality of the food was not up to their usual standard. The following day, I had an upset stomach the entire day, although I cannot say for certain that the food from the restaurant caused that.
I know we will not be going back there anytime soon.

Their salsa tastes like Campbell’s tomato soup and a pitcher is $16. El Maguey is .5 miles down the road and has AMAZING salsa and their pitchers are $12. Don’t be fooled by their cool patio. You’re paying for their decor with subpar overly priced, under seasoned food. Just go to El Maguey and thank me later.

Server took cash tip and came after my husband and demanded another tip. Heard from others that this happened to them as well. We will not be back.
