Very good food. The ribs was fall off the bone tender. The brisket was also moist and tender and a nicely smoked. Tried the smoked Mac and cheese and enjoyed the smoke flavor. Will definitely go back again.
Delicious BBQ. Tender, juicy, just the right amount of smoky flavor. Wish we lived in town because we'd be back often! Chef Q mentioned he has some additional sauces (?blackberry and a honey peach) that sounded amazing. No indoor seating, but it was a gorgeous night to eat on the covered deck. Recommend coming early as the seem to sell out of some of the sides.
Simply wonderful. Everything about this place was great. The atmosphere was perfect, the service was friendly, and the food was delicious. Very pleasant experience.

So I deleted my former five-star review because it was during pandemic and it had a lot to do with food being delivered and how delicious it was.This is my review as of 02/22/2024. This is THE BEST FOOD in Chattanooga. The staff is terrific. And the food is even better (how? I don't know but I do know that it's the very best). Smoked meatloaf, smoked Mac and cheese, and the mixed beans (don't get me started on the mixed beans). I'll never say no to pass seared Foie gras or Oysters Rockefeller. But they are few and far between around here. This IS the best restaurant in Chattanooga Tennessee. Please try and prove me wrong because I want to try your favorite as well. I really love El Metate and Lake Shore Grill. But this is my very most favorite.
I can’t say enough good things about the food here. Have tried nearly all of the meat they have on offer. Everything is delicious. Might also be the best collards I’ve ever had from a restaurant. Ever. Their slaw is very tasty as well.I can’t try their cornbread or rolls because I’m allergic to gluten but my husband says they are also very good. He’s also had their mac n cheese and likes that also.I’d say we order pick-up from them at least once a week now. I look forward to our meal here every time.

Don’t walk, but RUN to “Off the Grill by Chef Q” to taste everything you’ve been missing! The bbq, Friday catfish and the chef salad have all been SO delicious! Today I had the smoked cheeseburger and they have blown me away again! It had a huge soft bun branded with Q’s seal of approval cradling a thick 1/2lb. burger that was smoked to perfection and covered with cheese!! ?I just hope I can enjoy a grilled hamburger again after experiencing a Q-burger!!!! Thanks Q!
This place is a rip off! I'm pissed! I got a rib plate with Mac and cheese and supposedly baked beans. The sides were ok. No smoke to the Mac and cheese period! Barely hot! Baked were hot and alright! But were only really pinto beans with seasoning! But those ribs weren't worth damn! Especially for 16.00 dollars! Not worth it! Will not be back period!

Perhaps those that gave this essentially a food truck 4 & 5 star ratings have never tasted authentic Southern BBQ. I don't know. But what we ate tonight was incredibly bad. Pork & brisket were mushy & flavorless, even with their sauce. Mushy usually means they've used too much tenderize or the meats are old. Baked beans were good. Potato salad filled with mayo, but no flavor. Collard greens so tasteless they were inedible. A huge disappointment; won't be returning.

I really wanted to like this place after reading all the great reviews online, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. There’s no indoor seating, which is ok for the summer but we went there in January. My partner was really craving burnt ends so he ordered them. They came out quickly but once I tried a bite, I had to immediately spit it out. These were not at all burnt ends but merely pork riblet that had been cut into pieces. My partner took a couple of bites and then threw them into the trash. Customer service was sorely lacking. The man who took our order smiled at us but seemed irritated that we were there. Maybe we just ordered the wrong thing or went during the wrong season but I would not recommend this place to anyone.
