I would not go to the one in Hixson again. I went one week ago. I waited an hour and forty five minutes which was fine. The disappointment came when they told me my table was ready only to be taken to a dirty table that they were still cleaning. Since I had to wait for them to clean the smallest booth in there for 5 guest I asked for a bigger booth. They told me that I would have to put my name back on the list which was not finna happen. When I decided to leave they said they would give me the next available booth for five. Once they told us that one was ready and took us to it guess what it wasn't. They was cleaning that one while we stood at the table and waited.

Our first visit to the Hixson Texas Roadhouse and we were disappointed, when comparing it to other locations we have visited. It took 45 minutes to get our food from the time we were seated and the two in our party (of nine) who got steaks, said their steaks were tough. Just not what were are accustomed to at this chain of normal high standards.

This is a Texas Roadhouse. If you been to one ? You’ve been to them all. The food and rolls are exactly the same as if you got them in another state from the same restaurant. This is a positive in this place.

Ordered online and showed up when I was supposed to at the given time. Txt the number with the reply HERE and what number pick up spot I was in. Waited, waited, waited. Waited a good 8-10 minutes. Finally I decided to call and see what’s up. The lady said she would be right out with my order. She came out about 5 minutes later with no food and said my order was given to someone else…. First, I guess whoever got my order pulled up in the same color and style of vehicle with a name sounding close to mine… whatever. She informed me it would be 15 more minutes. By this time they would be closed so I would have to call back in that amount of time and she would bring my order out,. So I had been dealing with this for 45 minutes. Came back and called, she brings out my order and informs me there was only 2 rolls left and gave me two cards for free apps to use my next visit . I get home and part of the order isn’t in the bag. I paid for add ons and got nothing. This location in the past has been a good place, good food and good service but I’ve had negative experiences the last two visits and only I can rectify these issues and that’s by choosing not to do business with this establishment ever again. I don’t like leaving negative reviews and am generally a positive person. But it seems these days, pride in your work is lacking across the board, in every industry, whether it be the service industry, medical, automotive or the manufacturing industry, the integrity and pride in doing your job, to the best of your ability seems to be only in these “memes” you see on social media not in reality or actually being applied to people’s work. I don’t want anything from this establishment, no free entree’s or apps. I just want other soon to be patrons to know that they may not get everything they pay for. But that’s the norm these days. Going above and beyond “to insure proper service” is only in memes and a for gone way of working in the past. So if these business owners or even managers are ok with subpar service then I want people to let me know of that before I do business with these subpar performers. So don’t expect proper service or edible meals at locations such as this. Just a psa.

Let’s start with our waitress, Olivia. You want service, to be checked on and cared for while eating out? She’s top tier… I’ve been to many Texas Roadhouse, what made this location stand out was the service. Food was excellent don’t get me wrong, but being checked on while the restaurant is packed and not overlooked makes a big difference in your experience. She was super nice and on top of her game. We even had a manager check in.. this location has been the best!

The waitress was very friendly. The service was excellent. The food was delicious! I got the road kill platter and the steak was very tender melt in your mouth. My husband got the chicken and shrimp platter. The rolls are to die for with the cinnamon butter. . The fried pickles are also delicious and fresh.

Food pretty good. Very uncomfortable. Whole place has the atmosphere of a freezer. Probably 65 degrees today. Suggest you do yourself a favor and go about 1 mile South and pop into Outback. Much more comfortable and if you tell them your freezing they will fix it intead of looking at you like your from another planet

We dine in occasionally at this location, but yesterday was the best experience we’ve had so far. Our server Tori was exceptional! She was attentive and aware of everything we needed but the best part…we didn’t even have to ask. Food is always great but will
definitely be coming back and asking for Tori.

This meal was an exception!! Everything was fantastic no need for anything except to chew and swallow.
My bone in Ribeye was incredible as for the sides mashed potatoes and mac-n-cheese were good but such a fan of the mac-n-cheese though.
Potatoe skins were good and had the right amount of everything, cheese and bacon.
Cactus Blossom wasn't greasy or overcooked, WOW!! No need for sauces on this day, way to go Texas Roadhouse!!
