“We took a friend of ours to eat lunch at this location. We were seated immediately as it was not busy because it was right after lunch. The server got our drink orders and within no time came back and took our food order. We had fajitas and our friend had tacos. The food came out fresh hot and delicious. It's a great place to eat. Our server did not let us run out of anything to drink and that is super important to me.”

“This small family eatery where one can dine in or takeout, is a hidden gem in Hohenwald TN with the best food, (especially the fish, hamburger steak etc and Sheila ‘s hushpuppies and home cooked white beans. So for a great meal served by great folks, try Barbers Place, open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 11:00 am/7:pm. The prices are reasonable and the fish is a staple. Y’all come now?”

“If they had moo shu on the menu, I would have given 5 stars for the food. 2nd time there, first time lunch buffet to go. We both had lo mein (one pork, one beef) and both thought the balance of meat, veggies and noodles was spot on. The crab Rangoon was filled well. I had egg drop soup and other was good. We will be back for sure!”

“So I came thru the drive thru and got some chicken strips and a cheese burger with curly fries and it was $33. When I inquired about it being so much the young lady said that since I had said that I wanted "curly" fries, that there is an extra 30 cent fee for them, at which point I said that if they hadn't dropped them yet, we would just get regular fries.”

“Now I never write reviews, but I was there this not about 30 minutes ago and the lady helping us was very sweet, normally other sonics forget the sauces and the food is not good but I told my momma this is what crack must feel like to people because the food was that good, i got the garlic butter burger and groovy fries. 10/10”

“First time to try. Not open on weekends so we thought they were closed. We had lunch, he had a pulled pork plate with corn on the cob and tater tots, which were cooked to a perfect crisp. I had pulled pork nachos, which are a fav but these had a twist. They came topped with the typical ingredients, pulled pork, queso, bbq sauce and jalapeños but then they all had, a first for me, baked beans. I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about it but I liked it! We split a hot fudge brownie sundae, which I thought meant it was going to have hot fudge sauce, but it meant it had a warmed fudge brownie with chocolate sauce. It came topped with whipped cream and cherry. We nearly liked the bowl clean.”

“The grilled cheese Deluxe combo was great. It had one of the New Cantina chicken soft taco, a chalupa, and a grilled cheese burrito that was so delicious. Now they were out of the New Avocado Salsa Verde so I used Avocado ranch, guacamole and this dollop of sour cream. That was the worst part over .50 for sour cream and there wasn't a Tablespoon in the container. The young gentlemen helping was a delight he truly bent over backwards helping then was cleaning up the seating area.”

“Dietary restrictions: I also got a frappe with NO WHIP because I'm allergic but this one young employee refused to take the whip cream off my frappe even though I ordered no whip. Smh. Customer service lacks 100% at this Hohenwald Location.”

“The last few times I've got food from here it's been OK. I went in today and there was a white woman working. I want to say she made me the best sub I've ever gotten from this store. She listened and made it exactly how I wanted it. The last few times I've ordered weather it be online or in store a guy that barely speaks English has made my sandwich and it's very frustrating because of his lack of being able to understand. He's very nice but needs to improve his speaking skills.”
