Today I stopped in at your Hohenwald TN location to pick up lunch. I am not sure of the store number, but this your ONLY location in Hohenwald. The speaker was very staticky, and I had to repeat myself several times to the young lady taking my order through the drive thru. I ordered the 5 piece chicken tender platter. Not once did she say they weren’t serving the platter with the cole slaw and Texas toast. I also asked for buffalo ranch and sweet baby rays bbq sauce. She instructed me to come around to the drive thru window for my total. HAD I KNOWN I WAS ONLY GETTING A 5 PIECE AND FRIES WITH NO COLE SLAW OR TEXAS TOAST and without the buffalo ranch instead of reg ranch as I requested TWICE FOR THE $12 PICETAG, I would have not purchased. When I got to the window, the young lady did not greet me with anything but the price for the food. Not one hello, thank you for stopping in at Hardees, NOTHING!!! She appeared a little ditzy/unsure of herself. I handed her my debit card and she walked to the front counter to ring up my order, I gathered. When she came back, she only had my card in her hand, no receipt. She stated it would be with my bag (Of food????) The fries were being “freshly cooked”. What the heck? Does that mean they have already been cooked previously and they refried them? Or did she mean they were using fresh grease? Who knows? I let her know that I had only 10 mins to get back to my office. She replied we are hurrying, but THE LOOK!!!!!! How dare I tell her I was in I hurry. She closed the window and walked to the counter between her and the kitchen talking with other employees. (Ill get to that part next). She then came back and asked for my card again that it didn’t go through. I figured it would happen as it happened previously and if she didn’t mention the first time, I wasn’t going to either. She then used the card reader at the window and then handed me the receipt (WITHOUT BAG). As we were waiting for the fries (I was the only one in the drive thru at that time, I guess that’s why she didn’t ask me to pull forward). I looked thru the window to the people inside, the manager/leader was standing at the counter between her and the kitchen COUNTING DOWN A TILL. I am not a stranger to illegal activity and the criminal activity we have here in Lewis County, and with family members being involved in the law enforcement industry, I was privy to some common sense safety rules. The manager standing there in view of everyone just threw all kinds of flags. I mentioned to the young lady at the window that she might mention to the lady counting the till she might want to move out of view of the drive thru window (manager was also walking around with the till, I guess to hand it to the person that handles that money? Hohenwald has PLENTY of folks that are criminally minded). Young lady said, I cant do that, she’s my manager. EXCUSE ME: You are afraid to discuss a situation that is potentially risking your safety, as well as everyone in the restaurant, with your manager? I replied, I CAN. I waived the Manager over and explained I am not a stranger to illegal activity and the criminal activity we have here in Lewis County, and with my family members involved in the law enforcement industry, I was privy to some commonsense safety rules. The Manager proceeded to tell me that its just money and she will give to whooever wants it they can have it. Is this really the way you want your employees to represent your company? Evidently, your store manager doesn’t care about the safety of your other employees or the dangerous risk that is of counting money where the general public can view.

So I came thru the drive thru and got some chicken strips and a cheese burger with curly fries and it was $33. When I inquired about it being so much the young lady said that since I had said that I wanted "curly" fries, that there is an extra 30 cent fee for them, at which point I said that if they hadn't dropped them yet, we would just get regular fries.

Right OUT of the OVEN Biscuits!Gravy has plenty of quality Sausage mixed in it. Hash Rounds were cooked Fresh. Service was Friendly and the Cashier even refilled my Coffee. Even the Customers made my Saturday Morning Refreshing. Excellent Breakfast experience and I DO RECOMMEND.

We stopped by and had big Hot ham and cheese sandwich and the New Philly burgers husband said burger was delicious and fresh. Hot ham was full of ham and it was so thick with perfect amount of cheese. They were very courteous a d helpful at the counter.
Ordered chicken sandwich, wrong meals at drive thru then chicken has hard chewy and covered in tarter sauce. Fries old and not crunchy regular soda was diet. Will not order chicken again!
