Really cool atmosphere. Staff was super nice but our waitress had a hard time understanding our order. Food was SUPER slow to come out - like over 40 minutes. They were not busy - at all. They don’t make their salad dressings which is a no go for me. Anything fried tasted rancid. Everything seemed to be out of a bag or box. My grilled chicken tenders had a good flavor but one of them was tough as shoe leather. Hubs philly cheese steak had a good flavor but didn’t have much cheese at all.I also got charged for a sauce for my chicken tenders which was the last straw for me. Won’t return.

We came here for lunch today. There were four of us and we were seated right away. Our server was super friendly and took our orders with a smile. We ordered the Cuban Sandwich with sweet potato fries, Chicken Tenders,(they were huge!), mashed potatoes, and baked beans, Jalapeño Burger with fries, and Shrimp Scampi. We all enjoyed our meals! The rustic decor was interesting and fun to look at while we waited for our meals.

We are out of towners and went to The Junkyard Dog and from the moment of walking in the door we loved the atmosphere and was greeted by Debra who had a smile and was happy to see us! Service was on point and the food was great! My husband and I got the Jalapeño Burger and the BBQ bacon burger with French fries and an order of fried pickles! We split the burgers between ourselves and I’m not sure which was better! We had a great time! Can’t wait to come back for our yearly trip!

Great service, thank you James for making non-locals feel so welcome, and a solid meal for a fair price - what you hope for when on the road. Salmon and pork chop were both good selections.

A cool little hidden place. Seen where some friends rode out to this place and bragged about it. So we fired up the motorcycle and headed that way and glad we did. The food was good and the place had some cool vintage decor. Would go back when in the area

Parking: Was passing through and stopped for early dinner. The food was great.. I had salmon and my friend had the pork chop. Worth coming back for! The bread was delicious.

We both liked everything we ordered. The food is probably not scratch-made at the restaurant, but it’s still good. Servers were very nice. This is now my favorite sit-down restaurant in the area.

We got the crab dip as an app, and the firecracker shrimp app with dinner. I had the sirloin steak & my BF had the NY strip. Everything was so good. The bread that came with the crab dip was addictive! We will definitely come back when we are in the area!

The owner/chef has the manners of a Junkyard Dog so.... Yeah... I get the name now. Took my family because I heard the Filet Mignon was good. Which is great because that's the only cut of meat I care to eat and don't get to eat it much. Growl... they were out. It was 6pm on a Friday night. I order another steak. When our steaks arrived they were all well done even though no one ordered well done.... Growl. Snarl. We're not a family that causes issues so we said nothing to the waitress but upon exploration of my steak I noticed it was 80% fat and gristle. I tried my best to find some meat and two or three bites could be found. But when I tried to send it back I was told I'd already eaten 'most' of it. YAP RUFF SNARL BARK. GROWL. We were not, at the time, a family with a lot of money so going out and spending $100 on a dinner is very rare for us. To be told that I was going to pay for a plate full of fat hurt me and disappointed my wife and kids. Now he didn't come out and deliver this news himself! He sent a 16 year old girl. I asked for him but he wouldn't come. Now, I regret doing it, but in order to make up for being ripped off I didn't give our waitress a tip. I told her I was not upset with her but that the owner/chef had her tip and to go and get it from him. I heard later that she had! Good for her. As far as the Junkyard Dog? Bad dog! Bad bad dog! Perhaps one day I'll give it another try and see if the old dog has learned at least one new trick... integrity.
