“Great breakfast place. Zip right on by those chain restaurants and stop here. Super friendly staff. Amazing variety of choices on the menu. The cakes and pies are “to die for” delicious. This is our Saturday morning routine. Starts our weekend off right. The hot coffee keeps on coming and I drink a lot of coffee. Love this place. Friendly atmosphere where everyone is welcome.“
“Amazingly tasty. The Hungry Shack is a fantastic little joint I never knew existed. I frequent the Jackson area as I am Pro A/V installer and technician I happen to be in the area during lunch and was driving by when I saw the little shack. The building is a little older and could use some renovation, but that is exactly why they say do not judge a book by it's cover. As soon as I saw the menu I knew I was going to have a hard time picking something, because I wanted everything! I went with the Garlic Parmesean Chicken wings and drums with seasoned fries. Not only was the food amazing, but they were super nice, remembered my name, brought the food out to me. I can't wait until I find myself in the area again. Bring cash for the tip yall!“
