It was absolutely fenominal ! I had yellow rice,mac and cheese,an ox-tail with fufu. I would choose this over any place to eat.DELICIOUS.

The food is absolutely amazing! OX Tail . To die for. All food looks & tastes wonderful. No going overboard on spices, seasoning! Can’t stop eating after first bite!
The owner & staff are so friendly & warming! Even got pic with owner. The staff is highly professional. Restaurant is one of the most popular in Jackson,Tn. People drive from hundreds of miles away just to sample the delicious African Cuisine.
Please stop by & give them a try, you won’t be disappointed. Make some of these foods your favorite. Atmosphere is quiet, cozy, & comfortable.

It's not African cuisine it's Africans that serve Jamaican food. The service is non-existent unless you are African or another non FBA. I have been there numerous times & watched as the Owner give out food faster or even better pieces of meat and more to specific people. Let's just say it's done in front of others to see, but non the less the food is pretty decent & fresh most of the time especially if you like Jamaican food . So I will still say it's great for soul food except Sundays they are closed.

I'm an OTR truck driver who parked at the pilot down the street and decided to Door Dash from this restaurant. And WOW am I glad I did! I bought three dinner plates lol you know leftovers for a couple days 😅 anyway Jerk chicken was Fantastic! Ox tail was to die for and don't get me started on the Curry chicken!!! Everything fell off the bone and left me wanting more! Keep up the good work over there! 💎

I never had any issues with Jamaican and African cuisine until today. I got my usual and I noticed my curry chicken was red inside when I got ready to eat it. So I took it back and the owner told me it’s possible to look like that and I told him I have never seen chicken to look like that so he asked me what would I like for him to do and I told him I would like my money back because after seeing it I didn’t want it anymore so I told him I wanted my money back and he said NO REFUND… but I can give you some more food.. I told him No thanks and politely left

First time visiting and wow is what I left with. Great flavor and I recommend the chicken.

My first time eating this new Jamaican and African cuisine. I ate some of the jerk chicken, Mac and cheese and green beans; baby; the food is 10/10, best food, best service ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍

Unbelievably delicious food. Even though there was a line, it moved extremely fast. One of the few times I've been in a restaurant where the whole place is silent because everyone is eating. I ordered the large jerk chicken with rice & callaloo and it lasted me through 3 meals. Don't pass this place up!!

Great food

My uber eats delivery driver told me they were taking forever with my order but yet was serving all of their customers just fine. My order was cancelled and I was all tuned up for this food based on a referral from a colleague who went there earlier this week. It’s a shame that ppl who are responsible for keeping America moving can’t even get service at some of these establishments. Zero professionalism…why even take orders thru uber eats or any other food delivery courier if you are going to just have them standing there for hours? All that needed to be done once the woman called and told me that they were out of jerk chicken was too plate and package the food and send her on her way. 2 couriers later and my order was cancelled. I guess quality service in a Caribbean restaurant only exists back east..Smgdh
