“Lunch is always good, we get there around 11:00ish before it gets busy. The plate lunch is pretty fast to the counter and the ladies are all very nice. Owner comes around to check on food and service regularly. Drinks are self serve all you can drink and they give you a to go cup for back to work. We eat here once a week at work and even come back on weekends for good BBQ and ribs. They have a huge to go business with many office people picking up boxes to feed the entire office. We also get our turkey smoked here for the Holidays it’s a by the pound charge I believe. Good folks good food good service.“
“Great little mom & pop place tucked away in a tiny building. We had the Po'Boy shrimp sandwich, baked beans, fries, and Cajun Spaghetti. ALL of it was delicious! The owners, husband & wife, are so friendly, helpful, and courteous. The wife makes something different every day so you can go there all the time and try something new. We highly recommend Sho Out Den and will definitely be back.“
“A great spot in downtown Humboldt. Soul food made from scratch. Nothing from a can. The chicken and dressing was wonderful and the greens and cornbread were too. Everything was great including the homemade chocolate pie for dessert. Oh yeah, buffet includes drink and dessert. For those who like chitterlings, they have em every Thursday. Fish on Friday. “Food is ALWAYS good. Our drink glasses stay empty. The waitress didn't check to see if we were needing refills and we had to go flag her down. The restaurant can get quite loud at times. If you like to eat in a quiet peaceful setting, this is not your place.“
