Steak Escape Sandwich Grill - Jackson

We ordered the bourbon and bacon, grabs escape and fiesta amigo. All three were the worst, bland and dry sandwiches we have ever had from here. Thought with new management would be better but we were wrong.

This experience was a huge disappointment. I was in the area and saw the sign with an "under new management" banner. I had been out to dinner for my daughter's birthday across the street at another new restaurant we wanted to try. I made a mental note, and actually ended up ordering the following evening for takeout. I had a large ultimate escape with no peppers as I do not like them. My wife had a regular french onion and we split an order of chili cheese fries. With tax, the order was $39.17. The result was my order came with peppers, which I cannot stand. One bite and made myself a ham sandwich here at home. The quality of the meat was subpar as well with grizzle throughout the one bite I had. My wife's was made correctly, but also made with inferior quality meat. She ate less than 1/4 of her sandwich. Workers were polite, atmosphere was nice, just low quality product to make the sandwiches, which was very disappointing. I was excited to try this place. After, I realized this was a chain, which is usually someplace I stay away from. I hope this saves someone from having expectations beyond reality and having to have a ham sandwich for dinner. As a side note, the chili cheese fries were very good. Check this one off my list.

UPDATE... We went back today. BOTH DOORS WERE UNLOCKED! THANK YOU FOR LISTENING AND ACTING. My only complaint, and it's a BIG PET PEEVE of mine. They don't unlock both doors to the building. You go walk in or out and one side of the door is locked? Why? Does it need to be? Isn't this a fire hazard? Isn't this difficult for someone in a wheelchair? How hard is it to open both doors.

Enjoyed it! Very kind staff. Regular size fries and drink are more than enough portion size. Next time I’ll get the small, but I had a good experience! First time I’ve ate here since ownership change and I’m very pleased

The flavor is there but for the price I paid. Not enough meat, very disappointed. It was more bread than meat on the sandwich.

I am from California and I stopped here with my wife! I highly recommend this place! The steak and chicken sandwiches are delicious. The fries are freshly cut, loaded and my wife's says, "A party in your mouth!" Stop by soon and try this place, you will enjoy it!

We are from California driving by and stopped here for lunch. Let me start by the employees super friendly and the restaurant is very clean which matters to us very much! The steak sandwich (Grand Escape), chicken ( Ragin' Cajun) super tender, and taste was so delicious! So now lets talk about our favorites! The fries (Chili and Feisty Amigo), a party in our mouths! If you LOVE fries like me you must try this place! I highly recommend this restaurant!
