If I could give less than one star I would. I ordered a taco. It's a damn shame that a Mexican restaurant can't make a taco. Bland, unseasoned and greasy. The server disappeared after dropping our food off. Taco Bell is a better choice. Save your time and money and avoid this place.
Atmosphere is just like any routine Mexican restaurant. Service was fine. Seems like they change thee recipes. Cheese sauce, chips had a funky taste. Did not like them. Husband liked his meal. Fajitas. I ordered the AC shrimp. Shrimp very over cooked, second time, of course, it had the funky white cheese on the meal. Did not taste good.
Literally was seated and was forgotten for 30 plus minutes, no order taken or anything, so I decided to get up and leave , they obviously didn’t want my business
Delicious.... The best Mexican food I've ever eaten, great atmosphere and friendly staff A++
Dirty tables, over cooked meat, no drink pricing menus, 20 minutes to get silverware. Likely won't revisit.
This used to be the 7 Hermanos and Don chuy taking over has been an upgrade. The menu is more diverse and authentic and the cheese dip is thick and yummy, not the watered down type that other places serve. You get salsa and bean dip at the table right away and both are delicious with your complimentary chips. If you’re looking for a good Mexican restaurant experience this is it. Ps: if you get the red snapper it is NOT a fillet so the head is still attached. The way I literally screamed.
Very big menu! The food was great. I'll definitely be coming back.. thank you!!
Rude. Food not worth the money. Do not recommend.
The waitress was great and food was delicious it was our first time here and it was great and the atmosphere was remarkable
Not worth the money. Taco Bell is better.

tamale was really good, my taco was not - the carne asada was cold and dry/hard (as if it had been sitting all day) margaritas were awesome, and service was really good. Pricing was fair however even though I left almost 30% tip my card was charged even more than what I wrote down. (left 9.19 to make a even 45, was charged 45.67) not changed extra by a lot but it’s the principle- you don’t add money to a tip. 2 hours later I got sick and everything came back up. Disappointed as this was my first time here after hearing good reviews from friends. I came back to read reviews and noticed that sadly this is not the first time this has happened to someone :( Check your bank statements as this has been an occasional issue before.
Good food Good service
The red chile tasted ketchup. Yuk!
Still the same ownership as 7 Hermanos! It was great 10 years ago, and it’s great now! Both the food and service were phenomenal. Definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant in JC.
Excellent food with a great atmosphere and friendly staff!!
