Bartenders will come to your table and ask questions sometimes to ensure they get it right. It’s not just their smoked meats that are so good either, their sides are terrific! “Dined here for the first time. Husband and his brother had Scallops. I had the 50oz T-Bone, $150.00 with a great bottle of wine. Very nicely done. This dish came with three sides from the left side of the menu excluding one dish which was explained. Long story short I ordered the $150.00 T-Bone with the three sides being the Brussell sprouts, the potatoes and the oysters. Our server c ame back to say there would be and up charge of $5 for the oysters, maybe $8, now mind you this appetizer WAS included with the offer. When the bill came there was a up charge of $10 for the oysters. So, we went from a $5 upcharge to $10 upcharge. The tip was $75.00 which is not a problem but misinformation is.”

“I haven't been to Carrabba's in a while so had lunch there today. I had the 11.99 trio small plate choosing 1 entree, a salad, and type of soup plus yummy crusty bread with a dipping sauce that they make fresh every day. I can't say enough about the food. Everything was delicious! And generous portions. I couldn't finish it all so the waittress insisted so nicely that she prepare the leftovers for me to take home. I will definitely be go back there again. Great experience!”

“Delicious Turkish/Greek food! Loved the environment and the food was delicious. My husband got the gyro and said it was the best gyro he has had in the Tri-Cities! Appetizers were perfect for sharing and had a variety of options! All the food was so fresh and the order came out quickly! Our waitress was funny and sweet and the owner was delightful! I preferred the burger Roll from last time, I'll stick to house fries, rings were (*ok) Not a fancy dressed date place, But homey. You Could walk right by it if your not looking for it. “I can't recommend the shrimp salad rolls enough - they are so fresh and the peanut sauce is delicious! I've also gotten the roasted duck pineapple red curry which was rich and tasty and the pad kee mao which was wonderful. I love the balance of sweet/spicy/savory in the dishes. Each time I've gone, the service was super fast and friendly and the serving sizes were generous enough for two meals.
The only drawback is that I live 2 hours away and keep having to come up with reasons to go to Johnson City!!!!”

“I never post to the internet but I am posting my first restaurant review ever. We enjoyed a fabulous meal this evening at Timber. My only regret is we did not find this restaurant sooner. I will say that this restaurant is for the more adventurous diner. We decided to create our own tapas dinner. From the starter menu we chose warm stuffed dates and the spicy potato hand pie. From the small plate menu we ordered the brussel sprouts, and they may be the best brussel sprouts I have ever eaten. From the main menu we decided to share the braised chicken legs. Every part of this dining experience was fantastic. Iris provided outstanding service and guidance with the menu. Timber is not the fanciest restaurant but the food was incredible. Iris told us that parts of the menu change every week and I would highly suggest making reservations ahead of time. It is not the type of restaurant where I will eat every week, but it will certainly be on our rotation. They do have hamburgers and fried chicken sandwiches for the less adventurous diners. I truly hope that others in Johnson City discover this gem and support it. Wow just wow! We used to drive to Asheville to eat at restaurants like the Admiral but there is no reason to make that trip anymore. Enjoy!”

“We had lunch at this location today. The food is delicious but I have 2 comments. The penne with white clam sauce is more like Alfredo with clams in it. Delicious but not authentic. White clam sauce should just have olive oil, garlic, clams and clam juice. I cannot recommend the eggplant parmigiana at all. It was paper thin eggplant slices with a thick oily breadcrumb layer smothered in marinara and mozzarella cheese not parmesan. It was not appealing and I couldn’t eat it. But the garlic knots were the best I’ve ever had. Freshly baked and swimming in a very nice garlic butter. The salads were fresh and the calamari was perfect. So I recommend the place just not it’s authenticity and definitely not the eggplant dish!”

Also the smoked Mac and cheese and cornbread pudding (think that is what they called it) very very good as well. We enjoyed banana pudding for dessert! We highly recommend!!”

First of all you can't claim NY and be cheap on your toppings, sauce included. At $2.50 a topping | should be having toppings in every bite and this fell short. I wanted to like them because the crust what the right flavor and crispness, and the sauce when you had it on your bite was perfection. But this was like being a teenager getting teased by your bf or gf endlessly waiting for something to happen but never does. And you're left behind wanting more but with overwhelming disappointment at the same time. I know it sounds harsh but just claim it as what it is. Take the NY style off the door unless you want to be more consistent, add extra sauce to your pizza, and quit being cheap on the toppings and make that pie greasy with goodness and you'll have something.”

“I've been wanting to try Fuji for a long time and tonight I went there for my birthday and I was impressed by the courteous and polite staff which was a good sign. I had seen the menu as had my girlfriend so we both knew what we wanted so we gave the waitperson, I don't know his name but he did the little bow with folded hands after taking our order which came very quickly I might add. I had a drink called Magic Peach which was very tasty and very strong, the Spring Roll which were good sized crunchy and delicious, the Veggie Gyozyas which were fried to perfection and yummy and lastly the Avocado Roll from the Classic Menu also as good as any I've had. So all in all it was great way to spend my birthday eve, I give Fuji 5 stars! I look forward to my next visit!”

The owners Elizabeth & Matthew Bambargers have not mentioned that Jacob Spiese the criminal charged is Matthew 's Cousin and they brought him to Bebettes, from LA to be a silent Partner and Manager. All of the employee's resigned due to the behavior and a Me2 incident has been covered up. Instead immediately I get a response from the first voice telling me snarkily that “no there were none on that order, I filled it myself”. To which I had to had to read off my email confirmation for my order. I then get 2 minutes of silence. When the voice comes back it tells me, “oh, those will be here to pick up when you get here.” So I ask, “so I have to make a second trip? Is there anything you can offer on my order because it was left off in order to make up for the 20 minute round trip I have to make?” (The voice has no idea how to answer my question.) I finally drive the ten minutes to the location to get the rest of my order, and the same snarky voice is at the pickup window. I get a quick apology from a manager and the remainder of my order. But I’ve been in customer service for 20 years… One should make an attempt to not just apologize, but to compensate for the effort a customer had to go through for the businesses mistake. To do otherwise, implies indifference. I got nothing from them. No, here’s a few extra biscuits to make up for the trouble. Or a coupon for your next visit. Nope. Just snarky voices and a quick apology. Honestly if we didn’t have food allergies and liked the food, I wouldn’t go back. Definitely gonna have on my list of places I may need a break from… it won’t help if I like the food if it gives me high blood pressure because of the staff. Please train your staff better. Less attitude would be great. And as painful as the phrase can be “the customer is always right”— Legit it’s best to not call your customers liars right off the bat.”

“I am usually very happy with my orders. I went through the drive thru, ordered a small burger, No Mayo, No Ketchup and a Chocolate Malt. The malt is ALWAYS delicious. My burger was dried out and there was ketchup (looked like they tried to scrape it off) that soaked into bun. The order was correct on my print out. Will not order that burger again. The young man at the window was very polite as always.”

The baristas are friendly, courteous, and attentive and will laugh at your jokes (good or not).
The atmosphere here is the standard in which all other cafès aspire. Walking through the front doors immediately calms my nerves and brings me solace.
