Project BBQ Reviews
We were passing through from GA to West Virginia and stopped here for lunch. I had pulled pork sandwich. It was absolutely delicious! Service was quick and the people were VERY nice.
Got an early lunch on Sunday. Got food poisoning from it. my grandson got something similar and he had no problem. The only thing I ate on Sunday was an apple for breakfast and no dinner.
My fam & I enjoyed it. Good food.

Project BBQ serves excellent BBQ and smoked meat options at both locations. The sides are delicious, especially the cornbread casserole. The multi-meat platter is a popular choice, and the Brisket Sandwich is a highlight, paired well with the TN Sweet and TN Heat sauces. The Mac & Cheese is also a winner. The ribs are incredible and easily the best around, although some find them a bit too salty or overseasoned. The Coleslaw is vinegar-forward and contains celery. The staff provides friendly service and incredible hospitality. The restaurant can get crowded and loud, especially on Saturday lunchtime at the North location. The drive-through option is a convenient feature. The food is fall-apart tender, and the meats are wrapped in butcher paper. The BBQ sauce has a strong chili powder seasoning, but it can be balanced out with other sides like the baked beans. The potato salad and cornbread casserole can be improved with additional ingredients. However, the nanner pudding is scrumptious and highly recommended. Despite the crowds and long waits, the quality and portions of the food, along with the friendly staff, make Project BBQ a great spot to visit.
