It's a very nice venue but I returned after a visit a couple weeks ago and the drinks are $7+. I decided to go elsewhere seeing the prices with some reaching $8! I would love to be able to visit this spot but not at these prices.

Great taphouse on the park with sunny or shaded seating. dog and smoking friendly. fantastic selection of local and regional beers. food trucks all the time, but their quality is hit or miss. Definitely look at their social media and research the truck before relying on it.

A really fun place to come on a nice day. They have tons of outdoor seating and they have a great view of the park. They have food trucks almost every night, and have a huge selection of beer. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable in the beer. Even when there are festivals going on in Johnson City and they are busy they keep the line moving quickly and efficiently. Definitely a place to check out for beer lovers!

The diversity of people and chill atmosphere makes the Ale House an excellent hang. Dog & kid friendly as well. Also offer a healthy NA selection with Juice Boxes, Dr Enuf and Cheerwine as well. Something for everyone, come hang!

This is our go-to hang out. Service is always excellent. My only wish is that there were a few more gluten free choices.

I have always had high hopes for AAH. My husband is a JC local and he’s always raved about the spot. However, the last few times we’ve been, a certain brunette female bartender has ruined the experiences for me.
She has worked there the last few times we have been (keep in mind we only come into town on holidays, i.e. Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc).
The service you receive from this bartender changes based upon your political conversations and the customer's needs and requests. On multiple occasions, her attitude and service towards my husband and I has changed because she did not like the political conversations/social conversations she overheard between us and others.
I understand we live in a sensitive time right now, but don’t work in a service job if you can’t put on your big girl pants and provide excellent service to patrons no matter what they believe or where they come from.
Your job is to serve beer and provide excellent service that reflects the establishment. Her service specifically does not make me want to go back.
