We decided to try something new today and was sadly disappointed. My husband and son food was cold. Then 98% of my fried scallops were double fried as they did have some fresh fried one but the others you could tell were old and thrown back into a fryer to heat them back up.

We decided to try some seafood tonight. What we got was either cold or deep fried twice to reheat. The server gave a diabetic regular coke instead of coke zero as requested. Would not recommend.

Today was my birthday and my husband knew I had been wanting to try this restaurant, so he took me today. There was only one waitress at lunch time. That was fine. We ordered 2 entrees. My husband had the crab burger, it had no flavor at all . Very bland. I had the Louisiana sampler or something where you choose 3 options. So I chose Jambalaya, corn chowder, with red beans and rice and crawfish. The jambalaya was horrible, it was pure mush as if the rice had been frozen and thawed. The corn chowder was so so, very runny for corn chowder, red bean rice and crawfish was nothing it says ! It was white rice with red tomatoes and 2 very small pieces of crawfish and when I say small I mean as in dime size small. There was not one red bean to be found. I left the whole plate basically untouched it was that bad. The waitress never asked if my husband needed a refill and when she came by and saw I hadn’t touched my food but asked for the ticket. Not once did she attempt to ask if I would like a box or if everything was ok. When leaving and paying after seeing I left the food and still did not ask was everything ok? The rudest place I have been to in a long time. I saw the manager around and she had even walked by and saw my food untouched and did not care to ask. My husband was so upset that I even made sure the food was paid for. He was refusing to pay it . But I did. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone else I know. If you want great Louisiana dishes here local, go to Walk on in Bristol. You will not be disappointed! Bayou Boys is generic!

Great place for Cajun style seafood! Their fried catfish is the best in town. The best part is, their fry is cornmeal and gluten-free! My celiac mother in law can have fried green tomatoes and fried shrimp for the first time in years! We cannot wait to go back again!Dietary restrictions: Celiac friendly, fry is cornmeal!
* * * BE AWARE OF THE SERVER DYLAN * * *We attended as a big group of 10 when Dylan came to give us the bill check he never gave us the itemized bill that already had the group gratuity already added instead he gave us the standard individual bills which has the tip as a customer input.It was only until we checked the final bill that had a higher amount that it has been already added us and we were essence double tipping when we fly this to Dylan he created it, but we had to spot this in the first place very dodgy. . Be aware of Dylan. Do not let him serve you.

Went for lunch today. Had the Crab Cakes Royale. So flavorful! This was worth the trip. Next time I'm in the south, this place is a must-return. Love the decor, especially the Cafe du Monde area. Highly recommend!
When we finally got seated 64 minutes later we they did not have glasses so we had to use Styrofoam cups. Then the food we asked for they ran out of it. Then we had to wait a hour for our food never got our appetizers first we got them with our food and we never got to see our waitress. Our drinks stayed empty. This is not the first time we came to this place and they don’t have enough food.. this is ridiculous.

First time going, but won't be the last. The seafood is fresh and the servings are large. The bartender made the best whiskey sours. Definitely a restaurant I would recommend.
I had shrimp scampi and my son had all you can eat crab legs .Both dishes were very good, and our waitress was sweet, It would have been nice to have the proper utensils and if we were offered a refill on our drinks but all in alla very pleasant experience.
Delicious. Fried sampler can be split between 2 people and maybe even more. Our waitress was super sweet. And you get 5% discount if you use cash.
