Great atmosphere, service and quality food. Our first experience with Peruvian food. Owner took time to explain the history of Peruvian food.

We were here for a business lunch on 8/31. The waitress was patient explaining dishes to our party of 5. We ordered appetizers as well as entrees and desserts. All were very good. I had the Mahi Mahi cevichi. I heard no complaints at all from any of our party.

Have eaten here several times - service has always been great and the food is very good. Lomo Saltada is my favorite entree - i add chimichurri sauce and their hot sauce to rice and fries. Dessert is delicious. The bowls and sandwiches (lunch) are good too.

Great service. Delicious food. Fun atmosphere. Most of the family had never had Peruvian food before today. While I have a couple of children who weren't completely enthused about their food, I also realize that one of them is rather picky and the other believes he's a food critic. I tried both of their dishes and was very happy with everything I ate tonight. The rotisserie chicken was phenomenal. I truly considered asking for more even though I was stuffed.

Exceeded expectations! I’ve heard people rave about this place and finally got to try it myself. My partner and I decided to split a rotisserie chicken, which came with 3 sides and a variety of sauces. We went with green beans which were fresh and had fresh garlic on them and delicious , and 2 side salads. The salads were just okay. The chicken though? We’ve had rotisserie chicken many times and this was the best we’ve ever had. The chicken alone was amazing, and the sauces just took it to another level! The chimichurri sauce was our favorite (so much so that we took some home), although we liked them all. Next time we will skip the salads and do green beans with the homemade pinto beans. Overall we had an excellent meal and service and experience and will definitely be back very soon!

We were in town for the weekend and I so loved Brassa 51 that I went there both nights for dinner! The beef dishes are amazing and they recently got their liquor license so they have 3 types of infused pisco. Yum, yum, double yum.

Well….it was underwhelming. Rotisserie chicken was ok but no different than what you get at Sams Club for $5.00. My big issue was the lack of original side items. The only thing original was the canary beans. All the other sides were basic American staples like green beans, regular and sweet potato fries. Underwhelming is the only thing I can say.

Happened across this restaurant in a Facebook group and made sure to bookmark it for an upcoming trip. Dropped in today for lunch and we were warmly greeted by the owner. We loved the decor and care they have put into designing the place to represent various vibrant and fun aspects of Peru. The food was the best we have tried in the USA, very authentic and made with real ingredients. The chicha and maracuya were so delicious. We sampled the Cebiche, Pollo a la Brasa and Huancaina spaghetti, all fabulous Desserts were great and again, authentic as well. Bravo to Daniel and his team, an all-around excellent experience.

My fiancé and I decided to try this new restaurant in Johnson City given the uniqueness of the menu and a desire to try something different than our usual spots. I placed a take-out order for two of their rice bowls with rotisserie chicken and vegetable add-ons with a sauce of choice. Upon arrival at the designated pick-up time, I was told they were "just finishing" the order which apparently meant waiting another 15 minutes past the pick-up time until the food was ready. There was chaos observed in the food preparation area, many customers waiting without food at tables, and a line of people waiting for their take out orders. No apology or even acknowledgement was given about the extended wait. Upon opening the containers at home, I was shocked at the very small portions for the hefty price of $14 per bowl plus tax. There was no more than two ounces of chicken thrown on top of a pile of rice and pinches of raw, uncooked vegetables on the side. The green beans were cooked but smothered in garlic that overpowered everything else. My sauce cup was only 1/3 full and barely covered a quarter of the rice pile. While the meat was juicy and tender, no other element in the bowl had a "wow" factor that made me want to keep eating it. I could've made the same thing at home for half the price and been just as satisfied. It was an incredibly disappointing experience, and we will not return for another visit.

We were in Peru 4 years ago and was happy to see the Peruvian decor and smiling faces. Service and food were excellent. Had the mahi ceviche for appetizer and it was very good. I had quinoa salad which was very good and spouse had the 1/2 chicken with 2 sides- yuca fries and canary beans. We were stuffed but had the tres leches and cheesecake for dessert. A lot of food so had enough to take home for later. The tres leches was served in a glass with chocolate chips and syrup and whipped cream. Hopefully they will get their liquor license soon so we can return for Pisco Sours. Hope these guys stay around for a long time.

This is a Peruvian style restaurant with amazing chicken. There were 3 dipping sauces included. They were unique and delicious. Ambiance was warm and staff was good. Attentive all around.

What a treat! It was a quiet evening when we arrived, but we were asked if we wanted a booth away from people ( we eere wearing masks). It was a good spot for us. Our server was very helpful and explained Peuvian good for us. We all ordered chicken platters. It was so tasty, and the sauces she brought were a hit. Whay appeared to be owners came by to check how our meal was. Attentive, but not intrusive. The chirros and tres leches desserts were great. A fun evening with good food...Thanks!

I recently ate at Brassa51 and it was as if I was back in Peru! The atmosphere is fun, the service was excellent even though the restaurant was packed. I was impressed with both the quality and the authenticity of the dishes. I spent two weeks in Peru a few years ago and everything from the Checha Morada to the Ceviche and the Loma Saltada transported me back to Cusco and that amazing trip. Wonderful. Just hoping Pisca Sours will be on the bar menu when it opens but for now it’s BYOB.

Was looking for a (as per web site) Delicious food, art, and amazing music to create. a unique experience. Sorry to say I didn't find it. This is what I did find. I'll only mention a few items from their limited menu. starting with the appetizer. Chvichie. At 14.00$ for a small - to 18.00$ for a large. It lacked eye a peel . It was made up of Maui Maui ,one slice of sweet potato with a few beans and roasted corn kernels. The fish was small squares with a grayish color. I'm used to white looking fish and shrimp with red & green peppers. though it was not eye pleasing it had a pleasant taste. On to the soup. I expect a soup to have a broth that is bold and stands on its own .Adding pieces of chicken or cooked ground beef into it doesn't make it soup. The main course is chicken. It had good taste but was dry. It was helped by two dipping sauces but what you got for the price ,it is too high.Deserts are even too high for what you get. No liquor license yet and that's a good thing.Service was good. Major problem is high rent and over staffed help .All that equals overpriced food.It was Fine dinning prices for non Fine dinning . Just a Meal. The biggest question --- Would you go back? I don't think so.
