Got a pumpkin roll here for thanksgiving and it wasn’t very good, the pumpkin cake was fine, moist and good flavor but whatever they used for the swirl was wayyyy too sweet, thick and heavy!! It was not a traditional cream cheese swirl like I thought I was getting, for $30 I was disappointed, no one at thanksgiving could even finish a slice we threw over half of it in the trash. The people seemed nice tho, didn’t have any problems service wise.

I have ordered 4 cakes from Cakebuds and I will never go anywhere else! Their strawberry cheesecake is heavenly (I’ve ordered it twice), a peanut butter chocolate cake for my husband’s birthday, and our three-tiered wedding cake (funfetti, turtle, and marble) which everyone RAVED about. Their service has always been wonderful; they even called to double-check our order for our wedding cake, ensured to bake it separately as my husband has a coconut allergy, and drive it two and a half hours to Hickory, NC. I’m proud that this business is part of our downtown and I highly recommend them for any of your dessert needs.

I ordered my mother a birthday cake at Cake Bud's. They are so accommodating and they know their stuff! I highly recommend them for any occasion. My mother didn't want to cut into her cake because it was so beautiful!

i ordered an Oreo cake for my son's birthday. it was decorated really good but the cake had hardly a flavor, the icing didn't have any flavor and wasn't really sweet and the ganache was a good on top. i couldn't taste any Oreo flavor. i can see the Oreos but can't taste them 😞

My cakes/cupcakes look identical to the inspo pictures I provided. I am so beyond pleased with the results. They look & taste amazing! I will never go with any other company now for my cake needs. They are phenomenal!

Our regular bakery had a family emergency and we were scrambling for somewhere to make a red velvet birthday cake at the last minute. It was divine intervention!! This cake was phenomenal!! I believe we have a new bakery!! The cake was also beautiful!
