I’ve been coming here since they opened and in the beginning, it was very nice very clean. The staff was friendly. But I just walked in today and everyone looks bored and miserable, including the one guy that has been there since they opened. No smiles no greeting not that I really care about that but just thought I’d add it for the heck of it. But when I got my sandwich which I asked for extra mushrooms, I didn’t have any mushrooms and my cheese wasn’t even melted. But the biggest issue to me was the fact that there was a girl working there that I watched her touch everything in there no gloves on and she was handling every one of the sandwiches. She made four sandwiches before she got to mine no gloves on that’s disgusting and the place smells like a sewage Septic problems as soon as you walk in. Not going back.

I am extremely disappointed with the service at Charlie’s in the food court at the Johnson City Mall. What should have been a simple order—a sandwich and wings—turned into a nearly hour-long ordeal. Despite having three employees working, the person on the grill was only making one order at a time, which severely slowed everything down.
After waiting an unacceptable amount of time, we decided to get our food to go. When we got home, we discovered that part of our order was missing. This meant I had to drive all the way back to the mall to address the mistake. While they did give me the missing fries, they handed me a cold portion—not even a fresh replacement.
Waiting an hour for food in a food court, where efficiency should be the priority, is simply unacceptable. Adding insult to injury, the food we eventually received was incomplete and poorly handled. This experience was beyond frustrating, and something needs to be done to improve the service and management at this location. I will not be returning.

This location has gone down hill over the last year, it the past month I've been there twice and they had a sign on the door closed at 2 when they are supposed to be open until 7pm. The other two times the cook over the fries had his hair swinging all over the place, intentionally flipping his hair over food, serive is horrible. This used to be one of our favorites, going to Jersey Mike's instead, professional opinion do better or close the store.

My son is in the hospital today and i hadn't ate all day i arrive at your store with my elderly mother the sign was lit up and said open and the door had a sign saying the door was stuck to pull hard. However it was locked. Your emloyees saw us but instead of coming to the door to say they were closed they just went in the back of the store and ignored us. It was 7:30 and the open sign was still on so i was unaware. Your empolyees were rude. I wont bother coming back.

Close to closing about 30 minutes. Food was not as good as usual. Quite expensive. No smiles from anyone behind the counter.

Their food is subpar to say the least. I've had better Phillies from subway. And their prices for the sandwiches aren't fair for how much you get. The service is so bad they didn't offer to take the food to the table or even give me a tray to take the food to the table. I walked to my table several times to bring my food to it. The employees also hide in the back kitchen if there isn't a customer walking in or ordering. Speaking of which, half the menu is covered by the vent hood for the grill. They only offer 7 sandwiches in 3 sizes. Will never go here again.

No customer service, they rude and I ordered food on a app that was supposed to be delivered. Waited and waited on my food to be delivered. No food, so finally I got a ride to go see if the could make my food over or refund you would think they would have some kind of understanding. But the little boy was rude(MANAGER), and wouldn't do either. I felt like I was being discriminated again. Never again will I eat from this place. SAD PART IS I WORK IN FOOD INDUSTRY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A MUST.

Unlike the hamburger patty, the meat used in Philly is thinly sliced and grilled on an iron plate, so I think it suits my taste better.
Anyway, unlike the hamburgers I've been eating, the texture is much softer and I really like the abundance of vegetables.
The French fries were thick, fresh, and very delicious.
The only thing I felt was that the store was a bit small, and the tables next to me were so close together that I had trouble conversing with my colleagues.

No hello or welcome. Kid takes my cash with gloves on and cooks my order with the same gloves. Talks over the food to a girl the whole time. Floor needed sweeping and the dining room trash was overflowing.

i ordered through grubhub, and although i love this place and haven’t had a bad experience before, when i opened my sandwich i could literally smell the rotten tomatoes. when i went to remove them i heard and felt them “squish”. it’s disheartening as this is a common occurrence for other restaurants, but i didn’t expect that of charley’s
Very upset with this place!! I went in to get two subs and stood there for about 5 mins and no one even spoke they all just stared at me. After standing there the boy cooking told me they were closed now and couldn't take my order. Mind you he was COOKING a sandwich on the grill! As I was walking through the parking they locked the door which it wasn't even 7pm which is what the sign says on the door. If you are gonna lock the door before 7pm you need to change the times on the door!!!!
