I was hungry for a hot dog and chose Cook Out. A decent chili slaw dog; not my best ever but it could have been worse. I got a tray and enjoyed two hot dogs, onion rings, and a drink. The onion rings were really hot and a good crisp so no complaints.
Overall, no issues with the food. The atmosphere was good and the guy who waited on us was attentive and careful.
We went through the drive through for two shakes. We were looking at the shakes to see which was whixh and the girl opened the window and said yeah? With an attitude like we were a bother. Then, she rudely told us to check the stickers on the cup. There wasnt a reason for her to be rude.

Last time I went I got a tray and wanted hush puppies and cheese bites and then an order of cheese bites and onion rings and they gave me two orders of onion rings and one order of cheese bites with the burger. this next time I went I just got a burger cheese bites and hush puppies and my order came with three tiny cheese bites in it, thanks for the raw bacon on that second one too , I like chewy bacon but come on man wtf

We've stopped at this Cook Out location for years on our annual Thanksgiving drive from Ohio to North Carolina. It's always been consistently good, until this year. The burgers were overcooked; the counters, floors, tables, and bathrooms were all dirty; and the person at the cash register seemed very uninterested in taking our order and disappeared afterwards, leaving another staff member to try and find our orders. My husbands fries were cold and the milk shakes were the consistency of hard ice cream. We always look forward to out one Cook Out trip of the year, and were very disappointed with this one.
The food has always been good for me, but everytime I have gone here at night I have gotten terrible customer service. The drive through people taking your order are so rude for no reason, it's in a small space already, and not a big enough dining space. this so far has been the worst cookout I've ever been to. No place has treated me as poorly as they have here. I don't recommend wasting your time and service to this place.
Parking: Parking lot is small and drive thru "gate" separting thing is pointless and takes up unnecessary space in an already small and crowded parking lot.
Kid-friendliness: Not exactly kid friendly. It's more of a modern styled 50s milkshake shop.
