D is such an amazing worker, fantastic employee and had a bright smile throughout our whole stay. Vocal calling out orders so we could actually hear. 10/10 experience with him this evening.
Order taker could not understand us when we said we wanted the House Special. We even said it was at the bottom of the list, but she said she could not see the menu. I then listed the toppings and she still didn't know. She finally said, oh you mean the Cook Out special and wrung up the wrong item. It came quickly and she brought it to us. We didn't know until we were down the highway that the order was wrong. Still, it was a good burger, just not what we asked for.
I was hungry for a hot dog and chose Cook Out. A decent chili slaw dog; not my best ever but it could have been worse. I got a tray and enjoyed two hot dogs, onion rings, and a drink. The onion rings were really hot and a good crisp so no complaints.
Overall, no issues with the food. The atmosphere was good and the guy who waited on us was attentive and careful.
