We have never visited this Cootie Brown's location before. When we walked in, the hostess station was strangely inside the door of the patio area but we were seated right away and the hostess was polite. The restaurant was not crowded at all, but it took quite some time for our server to show up; once they did, they were also polite but seemed to be in a hurry.
After ordering, food and beverages arrived promptly. The portions were great, but the meat lacked flavor from spices, smoker, or grilling. The meal was decent quality, however, we had barely started eating when the server appeared with the checks and asking if we wanted dessert. We stated no, just refill of our drinks, which was done and then the server disappeared never to be at our table again. Overall it was a decent experience, but there is room for improvement that would not take a lot of moeny to accomplish!

We were excited to try this restaurant. It was early Friday evening and the place was only about half capacity so we were hoping to order and get our meal fairly quickly. Wife ordered tacos and I ordered what was supposed to be a half pound cheeseburger. It took over 30 minutes to recove our order and when we got it it wasn't very hot ( like it had been sitting for a few minutes ). The burger was burnt and dried out and was more like a quarter pound at best. Toasted bun was burnt and bacon was black. It had zero flavor and the chips that came with it tasted stale. The tacos weren't warm and also lacked flavor. We were very disappointed and wanted to like this family owned restaurant but the quality and portion size just wouldn't allow us to.

My wife and I have been sitting here on the patio for 20 minutes before we were able to get a drink, another 18 mins and counting since we ordered a second drink. Even set the glass on the edge of the table hoping our server walking right by would notice! It’s Tuesday night & not overly busy. Not sure if the server bit off more than she can chew or simply isn’t good at the basics of her job description. Usually decent service at this restaurant, but definitely one of the worst experiences at any restaurant I’ve had.

No reservations, we just casually brought along a party of 23!!! And they bent over backwards to accommodate everyone, served everything so fast, sat us all next to each other, it was amazing! The service is phenomenal. The food is pretty darn great too.
Excellent ribs and bbq pork grinder was off the charts good. Meatiest ribs I have had in a long time. Server was excellent and attentive. We’ll be back.
