Lots of Gluten Free choices, which is often hard to find. I tried Jamaican Jerk Chicken Sandwich with brussel sprouts since the chips which usually come one the side share a fryer with other foods. My friend ordered pork babrbrcue nachos and received a very generous serving. The sauce was a little different and I recommend asking for a sample to try before ordering food covered in it. Our two teen children ordered Cheesesteak sandwiches and loved them. I was surprised to see they make a gluten free version of their famous Key Lime Pie! Finding good dessert at restaurants when you are gluten free is hard sometimes.

This was a nice place. The seating in the covered outdoor area could have been warmer. The doors in and out were distractingly loud. Seems like a college town with young servers but our guy was still nice and efficient. The food was good. The BBQ sauce was kinda tart and spicy. Key Lime Pie is TART!!! Overall, would recommend. This was a good stop for a quick drive thru town.

The absolute worse food we have ever eaten. We had ordered the BBQ pork pizza. It arrived at the table. Dry, burnt, and hard as a rock. We spoke with the waitress. She acted like we were a nuisance. But she got us a new pizza. And it was worse that the first. We couldn't get refills of drinks. And the pizza, let's just say. Our dog wouldn't even eat it. So $25 pizza in the trash. Our first and last time eating here. But we all have opinions.

My husband, our 5 yr old son, and myself went here to eat and it was a great experience. Our server, Ionna, provided amazing customer service-she was attentive, kind, and made our experience feel fhe right level of personal (in a good way, of course). I ordered the shrimp po boy, my husband ordered Jamaican jerk, and our son got chicken tenders. We all enjoyed our food, so we followed up with peaches and cream pie and raspberry cheesecake. Nothing was disappointing or upsetting!

A fun and eclectic atmosphere! Our burgers and entres were fresh and well made. Service was friendly and fast. A reliable sit down joint off the highway when passing through JC.

Our first time ever as well and there is no way that some of these review are legit! Way over priced! We ordered fish tacos 2 bbq sandwiches and bbq grinder food only total was $80, we tipped generously knowing we would never return. The sandwiches were at best worth 4.95 on stale store bought cheap hamburger rolls and a butt load of chips to fill the plate. Even tried 2 different desserts and they were only OK, very bland we didn't even finish them. All told $100 can buy you a much better food experience almost anywhere.

This was my first time ever coming to Cootie Browns and it was fantastic. I had a salad (to be a little healthy), a smoked bologna sandwich, the blue cheese sauce for the fries & the pumpkin pie cheesecake. Everything was AMAZING and probably one of the best things I’ve ever tasted (and I eat a lot of places). The waitress, I can’t remember her name but she had pink & black hair and black nails, was so nice and friendly!! She was super sweet and even gave me other food recs for Asheville. Will definitely recommend & come again!!
