We had never been here, but The Down Home was recommended to us a while back. Our party of five stopped in for the first half of an Alexis Wax concert/fundraiser for Erwin. The venue is quaint, but there are plenty of smaller booths and tables for four (we grabbed a spare chair to accommodate us), and a bar selling beer and wine, water is there for free. Biased because my husband bartends there sometimes (Jimmy), but absolutely love this place! Great vibes, amazing music, and tasty food. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Most intimate venue in the area, by far!

This is this place is what's commonly known as a hidden gem but it shouldn't be hidden more people should know about this amazing place for live music from Ed the owner on down to the rest of the staff It's an amazing venue and atmosphere to listen to and enjoy live music and they have a pretty good Tex-Mex menu as well highly recommend
