Harbor House Seafood and Steaks

Been living in Johnson City for years now, and Have passed this restaurant numerous times not really giving it a consideration thinking how could they have good seafood in Tennessee well, if you’re from out of town or A new resident you need to check this place out cause they do seafood well. upon entering you get a sense of nostalgia with the old wood beams open space hanging fish. friendly greeting from the Hostess and our server was great. The fish and portions are generous and delicious for the price. the misses the baked potato was not good The coleslaw reminded me of KFC‘s too sweet and watery A side salad for an up charge was fresh and the dressings were good but the salad itself was not worth the extra expense The biggest gripe was it was hot in the restaurant also the continuous drip from the vent onto my head. overall, very happy will certainly be back

This place is ridiculous. I put a line order in went to pick it up. It was incorrect by the time I got home I looked and it was wrong. Called them back. The manager told me to bring all the food back.

It's been a while since we tried Harbor House, but it was really good today.

The popcorn shrimp 🦐 was delicious and so was the slaw. And don't forget the hush puppy rings, they were good .

A tad expensive for lunch, 😕.

Always loved the service and the staff.
If you love fried food this is the place to go.
The music and phrase fir the day are also good additions.
The place is a little outdated that can be overlooked because of everything else.

Our server was sweet, but the food was meh. Very overpriced for what we got as far as quality and taste. Blackened fish was soggy, crab cakes had very little crab, and hushpuppies were disappointing too. I would recommend Bonefish if youre looking for good seafood and only a slightly higher price point.

I take my mother to harbor house every other Friday and this was such a disappointing visit. The food was amazing as always but our service was extremely disappointing. We had to wait 10-15 minutes before we were asked for our drink order and at that point we were already ready to order food. It was around 2pm so not even that busy. Our server never apologized for the wait not to mention It was so hot in the building the ice was just melting and watering our drinks down. Not once did she ask us for a refill or refill our drinks. I am always very generous and understanding and this could have been prevented. There was several other severs just standing around that could have taking our order or offered to at least get our drink orders but they didn't. I could tell the other table beside of us was getting frustrated also.
