I am sad to have to give a bad review. But we have becoming here since they opened when it was great! Service was friendly food was quick, however it has gotten worse and worse. The location is great, food is great but the lack of being able to keep employees and management has just killed this location. We have seen the downfall and the struggle and I feel for them but something has got to change because a 20min wait for less than half the restaurant capacity is bad. I know only 2 people were working and I feel for them! But management has got to work out their issues, otherwise the location just may not make it.

We had a group of eight dinning tonight. Many of the menu items were not available and the server's made changes to our order before our meals arrived. The food took 70 minutes to be delivered to the table with no apologies or explanations. There were only three other tables occupied so overcrowded was not an issue. As a customer I can understand if there were unforseen issues but be courteous and explain.

In Johnson City this past weekend, Moe’s has closed permanently, not surprising as it had been going downhill for quite a while, and I couldn’t face the usual boring food from Amigos or the other cookie cutter Mexican run restaurants . . . so I took a chance on Holy Taco. I was pleasantly surprised . . . the chips and red salsa were excellent, I got a taco with tofu, onions and cilantro on a soft corn tortilla . . . it was very good, although it was small, proportions could be bigger. Service was excellent . . . I’ll be back.

I called an order in and went to pick it up, and they said I didn't have an order there maybe try the the one downtown. Nope, no order there!! I knew where I had called it in. I called the place back, and they told me that they had lost my order and they had started a new one. So I high tailed it back. My order was ready this time to find the food was not very good!!!! Was most definitely not worth all of that!!!!

Tuesday night they had some hack trivia person. Between the weirdest format of trivia questions I’ve ever seen, they blasted music over awful in ceiling speakers that clearly weren’t made for loud music. Who wants to go and eat at a restaurant ( this isn’t a nightclub @ 8pm ) and have music so loud, you honestly can’t talk across the table. Trivia - fun times, blasting odd genre music between - no bueno. And THE SALAD comes first. I hate that places can’t time food and deliver it as one lump. The “skillet” half done beans are an inedible abomination of food gone wrong. Just cook up some black beans with onion and you can’t go wrong. Pro tip, go at lunch time, the taco platter is 1/2 the price and same as the dinner “platter”. I’ve been there about a dozen times and never seen the same staff - this tells me something. We’ve got a place we go once a week and the same staff / bartenders have been there for many years. We’re going to find another place from now on.Parking: Tons of parking.

I ate at the Boones Creek location a few weeks ago and have been craving their Nasty Nachos ever since, so I called and ordered carry out from the North location closer to my work. When I arrived my Nachos were all packaged and ready to go. Waitress was very nice. All the toppings were separated (see photo) which I loved because my nachos weren’t soggy when I got back to my office. Very good sized portions that covered every single chip! Which is very important to me, IYKYK. Carne Asada was very tasty. Everything was still warm. Paid around $12 which isn’t bad because even a meal at McDonald’s these days is more than $10 and tastes horrible. Will be back again! All three locations are great.

1st time, but it won't be the last. Stopped in for a quick lunch. Had the 2 taco lunch special. Very good! You pick the protein you want. Soft shell. Comes with a "few" chips. Really. Just a few. $6.99. Ordered a 3rd taco it was so good. Asked for a few chips, got twice what I got originally. Got red and green salsa. Both were good, but I really liked the green! Top shelf margarita was okay, but nothing special. Worth the stop!

Please do not waste your time at this location. Go to the downtown JC location instead. Service and food always disappoint at this location compared to the downtown one.
