I am being slightly generous with the ratings because I really appreciate local businesses and want them to succeed. There are some improvements needed. The service can really vary with each visit. I have about 3 favorite smoothies, but many of the others are sub par. The store could use an ambiance upgrade. Unfortunately, the store hours are not conducive to morning hours. A smoothie is something often desired in the morning and opening after 9 AM is not helpful for working folks. I will continue to support the business occasionally, and hope that improvements are recognized and acted upon. Thank you.

I walked in to one of the associates complaining about the workplace. She asks someone else to take my order, which I’m assuming is new because she had trouble even entering in my order for a small pumpkin bowl. I get my pumpkin bowl, and it looks as if there is no pumpkin at all. When asked about it, they said it was frozen and clumped up but would dethaw some more if I could wait a few minutes. I had already waited at least 10 minutes and had somewhere to be. I paid $12 for this bowl for it not to even be made correctly. Don’t carry something on the menu if you’re not going to have it readily available. I’ve been to this location multiple times, but I won’t be back based off this entire experience. It seems you need to hire a new staff.

I used to really enjoy coming here, but ever since they expanded to new locations, the overall quality seems to have declined. The drinks are often messy or overflowing, the decor feels a bit tacky, and the smoothies are inconsistent—they taste different depending on who prepares them. Not worth the $11 for a small smoothie.

The girls working here are always so sweet and I am obsessed with the green velvet smoothie! Love love this place

Generous on ingredients!! They give an ENTIRE avocado on their avocado toast, multiple choices of bread, and comes with healthy oils- Good value for the price. Outdoor tables were clean and dry after it had rained a bit earlier. Excited to try the crepes next time!

I had an avocado toast and Blue Mountains cold press juice. Both were very fresh and full of flavor. I was happy to find this spot while driving through Johnson City, TN.

I love this place. Great drinks and food and the service is second to none. I am a big fan of the atmosphere as it is extremely pleasant and calming. The owner is a wonderful guy and he always strives for excellence with his product

My 2nd best thing about visiting Johnson City ❤️ (1st being my grandsons and family)! Fresh smoothies are awesome and have to bring home some the juices and energy bites!

I visit Java Juice House a couple of times a week, and their smoothies are always top-notch. They offer a few different options for protein powder, which I appreciate. It would be great if they added a smoothie option with turmeric or pineapple. The staff is always kind, and I leave satisfied with my orders every time.
