Honestly, disappointed in the quality. Used to enjoy the pastries here, but got a box of nutella croissants today and it clearly didn’t have nutella in it. It was a thinned out hazelnut pastry cream of some sort that didn’t taste like nutella at all, and the nutella is the whole reason I wanted it. Croissants were way too thick and doughy, not flaky. I also got an iced latte with a special syrup and it tasted like normal coffee. The cruffins here are good though.
What a great bakery in Johnson City! The quality of my breakfast sandwich was amazing. I had Bacon and egg with cheese on a croissant. Flakiest dough and so good.
The only comment was the person who helped me wasn't much help when I said it was my first time. She didn't suggest anything and I was kind of on my own to figure it out. The cost of my breakfast sandwich was approx $11. They had coffee and teas as well. Not easy to find BUT worth it to search out.
We ate right before closing hours so the pastries were a little dried just because of that. But they were really good and distinctive and unique. Wonderfully fun place to drink coffee and eat pastries. Next door is the art area. While we were there they had a musical set of xylophones and marimbas. That was unique and fine too.
I try to go here as much as I possibly can for the delicious pastries and calming atmosphere! 10/10 they will always have my business!
Come here about once a week and it’s great! Staff is great and pastries are next level!
Super fun experience. Lovely pastries. Great vibe and cool art.
Went here to get coffee and breakfast at 11 in the morning and they were already out of everything…..if you can keep for the entire day you should not even offer food as an option or learn how to make more for the amount of customers you have.
We ordered a cake to be picked up for our teenage son’s birthday. When my husband arrived at the agreed-upon time, the cake was not there, and we were told they had no record of our order. Fortunately, we had proof of the order confirmation in our email — not an automated message, but a hand-typed confirmation from the bakery.
To place the order, I had to send two emails (neither received any response) before finally making a phone call. I then received both verbal and email confirmation. After failing to fulfill the order and showing our order confirmation, we were offered the option to pick up the cake more than four hours later, with a 10% discount and a free coffee and pastry. (this was not practical for our situation) The owner was not there that day, so we reached out via email the same day and have not received any response, apology, or accountability now 5 days later.
We found the discount offer frankly insulting, as it did not show any real consideration for the inconvenience and disruption caused to our celebration. But now we know they clearly do not care, as the owner has not apologized or acknowledged the situation or reached out in any way.
While we had one previous cake order that went smoothly and was easily ordered via email, the difficulty we experienced securing this order, the failure to fulfill it, the inadequate attempt to correct the error, and the total lack of acknowledgement or accountability are simply unacceptable for a business that people trust for celebrations and milestone events.
So take caution when trusting them to come through for a special moment for a loved one, and don’t expect them to care at all if they drop the ball.
The chocolate chip cookie was good.....BUT.... where's the chocolate chips....pretty sparse....I would not buy again
When the Hurricane hit, my friend and I went out searching for water and see where we could help. With most of Greene co. and the surrounding areas being closed due to flooding we ended up out here.
I stepped into this adorable little bakery/ Coffee shop and felt the warmth within. All the treats we got were amazing but I want to make sure NOBODY misses the Oatmeal Toffee Cookie! ??
For a brief moment we stepped out of the devastation. So thank you Lazy people lol we are very grateful ? ?

4 only because the coffee wasn’t great.
Cold brew tasted cheap and a dolled up coffee didn’t taste any better either - did not finish it.
But the baking ? look this is the place! The ham and cheese croissant was delicious!
The quiche was yummy - needed for warmed up more and by the time was given it and walked up stairs their line consisted of 30+ people (Saturday 11AM). So just kind of dealt with it being cold.
Two coffees and two sandwiches all in all $22.
Overall would hella go back, just maybe not on a Saturday when the world has the same idea.

They need to use some hair nets...the barista had bushy hair, he kept sweeping it off his face...and sure enough there was a hair on my plate. Yuck. I also think they underestimate the danger of being so close to active train tracks.

Love this place. Awesome baked goods. Nice atmosphere. Employees are cordial and helpful. If you go on Sunday morning, get there before 11:00. Packs up when the churches get out.
