The bread was freshly baked and the salad was great! Our steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. My husband absolutely loved the fries and the mashed potatoes were great as well! Really good service! This was our first time trying it and we will definitely be back!

As always the food was great. A favorite stop. Wild West Shrimp, Steak was perfect, loaded baked potato and sweet potato. Salad could use some work. Lettuce and Croutons aren't enough to call it a salad.

My work doesn't do anything for it's employees during Christmas so myself and other Co workers try to get together and celebrate on our own. A couple of months ago a co worker called and made reservations at Longhorn Steakhouse in JC for around 20+ people, dated for this coming weekend (12/13/2025). Reservation was set and confirmed. Last week another co worker stopped by Longhorn Steakhouse in JC to see if we could possibly add a few more to the reservation. The employee stated we're not doing reservations for this weekend because of ETSU graduating. My co worker replied, well that's fine because we have had this reservation for a couple of months. The employee tells him to hold on and they'll ask the manager. Employee comes back and states the manager says they see the reservation we made but they're not going to honor it because of the ETSU graduation. Mind you, all of my co workers, the 20+, all live in the vicinity of JC. Do better Longhorn Steakhouse in Johnson City!

I don’t know about the food and atmosphere. Never been here. I did, however, make a reservation for my workplace to eat here at Longhorn’s about a month ago. When I called a few days in advance to confirm the reservation I was told, “we don’t make reservations because it’s ETSU’s graduation weekend. We have your reservation, but we’re not going to honor it.” These people had my phone number. I had to give it to them when I made the reservation. They could have called me at any time to tell me they changed their minds. So now I wouldn’t eat here if it was the last place on earth that served food.
Go the The Firehouse instead. They actually make and keep reservations! They’re also super friendly! I wouldn’t give these people a red cent!

We came for the first time after moving here. We were not impressed when we got our food it was not cooked properly and our waitress never came back to check on us at all. She did not even deliver our food to us someone else did ansmd someone else refilled outer drinks etc. Not impressed if you order a med steak and it is completely done inside no juice but not quite shoe leather and not even hot that is not cooked as requested. We used to go to longhorn weekly were we used to live but I guess it's not going to happen here.

Went and ordered a 12 oz. Ribeye medium well, when I got home it was double well done and dry. Apparently the cook didn’t know how to cook! I think the managers should watch over them. From now on, I’ll have to check it before I go home, if I go back!
