Maple Street Biscuit Company in Johnson City, TN, presents itself as a cozy breakfast joint with a distinctive atmosphere that adds to its appeal. While the food was satisfying overall, it fell short of being outstanding. I recently visited and ordered the Five & Dime with mushroom gravy, which was undoubtedly the highlight of the meal. The mushroom gravy was a standout, boasting a rich and delightful flavor that elevated the dish.Accompanying sides like hash browns and biscuit gravy were decent but didn't quite reach the same level as the standout mushroom gravy. They were enjoyable enough but lacked the wow factor that the main dish provided. What truly sets Maple Street Biscuit Company apart is its charming atmosphere. The absence of wait staff adds a unique twist to the dining experience. Instead of traditional table service, customers order at the counter and then await their turn to retrieve their meals. A delightful touch is the inclusion of a cute question during the ordering process, which becomes the identifier for picking up the order. It's these small, quirky details that make dining here memorable and enjoyable. However, if you're considering Maple Street Biscuit Company for a brunch outing, it's worth noting that while they offer mimosas, priced at $10 each, it may not be the most budget-friendly option for those seeking a leisurely brunch experience. Despite this, for a casual breakfast or quick bite, Maple Street Biscuit Company remains a charming choice with reasonable prices, particularly given the portion sizes. Whether you're a local or just passing through, the inviting atmosphere and tasty offerings ensure a pleasant breakfast experience at Maple Street Biscuit Company.Vegetarian options: Mushroom gravy is a mustParking: Lots of parking

We had the chicken strips that were amazing! The chips were soggy and not fully cooked.

The best part of my dining experience here was that, I crossed the cinnamon biscuit with the fried chicken breast and , WOW! It was better than what I originally ordered.

My absolute FAVORITE breakfast joint. I've tried about half the menu and so far I haven't found anything that wasn't good. Their Amber Light coffee is fantastic!

Really good stuff. My first visit was really Risky Biscuits. Just plain biscuits and gravy that would satisfy a country boy. While waiting for my order I watched them fold and roll out the dough for the biscuits.Next visit was The Farmer. Apple butter, fried chicken, bacon, and cheddar. It's a mix of sweet and savory. It's good but it's just not my thing. I prefer something more savory. On the weekends there was a bit of a wait and you may have trouble seating a large group.

Me and my wife were BLOWN AWAY at how good this place was. The service was amazing, and even though I got carry out and was a little late to pick it up, it was STILL amazing and hot. I would recommend this place to anyone. Plus, it was pretty cheap for how much food you get. We'll definitely be coming back here in our future visits to johnson city.

Everything always tastes so fresh! I love coming here after getting off of work in the morning. Their fresh squeezed juice is delicious.

Walking in, you order right out of the gate and sit down and wait for your name to get called. I do wish they had more pictures of what you are ordering.service is quick and easy with good customer service.Food was good, not great. Certain things like the biscuits and gravy (it has a little kick to it) and fried steak sandwich was good. french toast left more to be desired and the hashbrown things were not great.Overall, a bit pricey and while i say it’s worthy of a one time go, not sure I’ll be back as there are better breakfast spots.

Customer service was great from the time we walked in. Was greeted and explained the menu throughly. Was patient and answered any questions we had. Even provided us with things to do around the city and surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend and come again, thank you!
