Great food and service.

Great family restaurant with adult drinks šŸ¹ I admit my hopes for good pizza was not high, as I have been let down by other establishments in E. TN many times over, but this stuff was rather good. Thinner crust and floppy slices of goodness. I will return for sure!

We waited for our pizza for over an hour. The people beside of us came in like 15 minutes after us, and was served before we were. They brought my salad out an hour before the pizza came. Considering we had four small children I did not want to eat in front of them. By the time the pizza did come over an hour later my salad was wilted and it was gross. They absolutely would not give us a discount. The pizzas were cold when they came. I would not recommend this place to anyone. This is just my first day of giving this place a review. I will be letting everyone know everyday do not go there.

The food is good, But there is trash everywhere inside and out, patio is filthy. The outdoor patio furniture isn’t usable. The service is very slow. It could be a great atmosphere if it were cleaned up. Has great selection of beer. Just needs cleaned and better service.

I ordered a pizza at exactly 5:30 pm and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. Showed up at exactly 6:00. My pizza was sitting on the counter. Okay. Maybe they just took it out. Nope. Grabbed a small slice in the car and it was ice cold. ICE COLD. I had attempted to order once before and the phone was busy busy busy. Drove there and was told computers were down. Alright. I’ll order and wait. Gonna be an hour and fifteen minutes!! Really? I see people standing around back there and half empty dining room. Never again!!

This is a great pizza spot with a fun atmosphere and amazing pizza. I had the Holy Shiitake pizza, which I highly recommend. My server, Ayden, was knowledgeable and made good recommendations.

I want my money back, went there my first time to meet family members at 11:07 to have lunch and had to leave them sitting there coz I had to be back at work at 12:00(which we told our waitress in advance) I asked for my food to go and paid for everyone’s meals (and left a 10 percent) there was only 5 people there when we got there. It took over an hour to get wings and 2 sandwiches. Thumbs down.

It’s a great place for friends to meet and enjoy a good inexpensive pizza on a Wednesday .. but a $14 tanqueray and tonic … wow .. not tall or anything :( never spent that anywhere ever?!?!

Waited 20 minutes before a server came to our table. We were watching all four servers doing their side work and talking and joking around. We could even hear them talking about us and who was supposed to be our server. They still ignored us for a while longer. When one of them came to our table, she said she didn’t know who our server was supposed to be. We ordered a gluten free pacific rim pizza, a house pizzas, one salad, a cup of blue cheese for dipping, and a large cheese. Our server told us they were running a special, a large cheese for $10. Waited another 25 minutes before we got our pizzas. I get that it takes a while to cook pizzas, but sitting at a table for almost an hour before we were eating was frustrating. Another two different servers brought out our pizzas. My mom had to raise her empty cup in the air before yet another server came by to give us refills. Had to wait for our bill after we were done eating. The first server brought us our bill. She didn’t charge us for our drinks, gave us to go drinks, and gave us a 20% discount. However, she charged us for the blue cheese, but we never got it, and she charged us $20 for the cheese pizza. They fixed the charges. Here’s the thing: the food is great! I have celiac disease, and there aren’t many place that I can eat. I love their gluten free pizza. The service sucks though. I’m not really sure we will be eating there again anytime soon. I might order a GF pizza for delivery, but I don’t think we’ll eat at the restaurant again or order multiple pizzas again.

This was our first time at Mellow Mushroom in Johnson City. It’s a little pricey, but the pizza was great! We were not disappointed; they didn’t skimp on toppings. Definitely want to go backšŸ‘šŸ¼
