We had a party of 16 last night. The service was excellent. The food came out quickly. We all loved our dinners. We will all be back!

Hey, just gotta share about Miso Teriyaki House in Johnson City - seriously don't overlook this spot! Their seared tuna appetizer is out-of-this-world good, and the calamari roll sushi? Yeah, you gotta try it! And for mains, the Hawaiian red snapper and chicken teriyaki are pure perfection. Oh, and shoutout to Megan, our server - she's awesome! Next time you're around, make sure to swing by Miso Teriyaki House for some seriously tasty eats!

Have been here weekly since it opened and experience was wonderful. Came in for lunch today and right away noticed difference in food. Everything super bland. I think they have a different cook.

I placed an order online and it was submitted at 9:39pm. On the website it states the store closes at 10pm. When I went to pick up the order, I arrived before 10pm. The drive through worker said it was canceled due to being put in too late and the time was on the website. However, there is no time that is stated on the website that orders cannot be place. Also, if the grill does turn off before closing why would you be able to place an order online? When she closed the window after telling me this, they started laughing loudly. I truly understand time cut offs and everything, but if this is not clearly stated for costumers to see and they are able to place the order anyway, it is not a good setup. The costumer service was bad and there was no communication either.

Waiter was very nice and helpful, felt like I was talking to a friend. The atmosphere is really cool and unique. Was super excited to try this place finally since it opened. We were not disappointed! Even the miso soup was tasty! The cheese Rangoon's were super! Even the water tasted good, which is rare for Johnson city .

Easily the best in tri-cities TN area. Quick seating, bright menus. Best, clean smelling, great tasting soup, clean restrooms, music at a subdued level, awesome bright enough lighting. Food gone, fully satiated, return visits planned. We'll done, Miso Teriyaki House team!

It is worst service ever I had. Waiter ignore us and didn't communicate as didn't ask us a question or anything. Didn't refill the drinks until I have to get his attention. Treat us like second class citizen because we are deaf. I do give good tip but this is hurtful because of discrimination attitude towards us. Will not come here again. Also, They aren't serve Miso soup anymore not like what they are used to be. I was loyal customer to this before they closed down and rebuild new one.
Miso soup is not tasty. Taste more like an onion. They have onion soup but asked for Miso and it appeared to be that with a strong onion odor (no chives in it so not that). Dumplings are average at best. You can not mix and match spring and egg rolls which is crazy when you get two per order and they cost the exact same. The spring rolls were below average for me. Will not be back.

Sushi was decent, but you can get lots of it in this area that is better. As for the Chinese no thanks. General Tso was bland with a couple of broccoli thrown in, sweet and sour had no vegetables and neither did the rice. The teriyaki chicken was also pretty bland.

Very impressed from the visualization of the decor on the inside to the presentation of the sushi, this new restaurant is one of Johnson City's best new restaurants. Great service and great food from a locally owned restaurant. Highly recommend.
