Shepherds Pie and the soda bread were delicious. Really liked the vibe of the place quite a bit. Will absolutely be back.

The Best Guinness pour, Fish and Chips, and the most friendly service around! This is a favorite place of ours for lunch. The server greeted us as we walked through the door and was upbeat and fun the whole time. Special pricing on several items before 3 p.m. during the week.

What is the definition of an irish pub, especially abroad? What does it take to say this is a little slice of Ireland, right here for you , our way. Do fixtures and fittings make it irish...no.

People laughing, playing darts pool card games, tick.
Good music, good food, friendly staff, tick.
Making you want to come back, tick.

What makes Mulligans stand out, they have created a community feel, a friendly environment for you to chill, socialise with your friends at your pace, enjoy the atmosphere and feel relaxed.
And genuinely looked after, not trying to get every last buck outta you.
And the tennessee ladies drawl, mother of God, it is unreal .

I'm from Offaly, my buddy from tipp, enjoyed it and we'll be back.
I simply cannot recommend this big bar, run by Sean McCoy and his family, enough.
Thank you for the chat also.

Great food and friendly service. The owner sat down with us, and we had a great conversation. If you're looking for homemade Irish pub food, this is the place to go. I highly recommend it.

Side note: Take a look on the wall for some great art that you can purchase. Each piece is done by a veteran and proceeds go back towards them. We fell in love with and purchased a piece during our visit.

Absolutely made me homesick for Dublin! The Guinness Stew was phenomenal, and the Soda Bread was the perfect accompaniment. Bangers and Mash was delicious and the side of peas were fresh from the garden! Fish & Chips the best this side of the Atlantic. Bread Pudding....OMG! save room; it's generous enough for two; comes with ice cream and ripped with whipped cream and caramel! I can't wait to go back!

This is a great Irish pub in downtown Johnson City. We were there for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Service was spot on and the food was very good. We started our lunch with their blueberry scones which were freshly made and out of this world delicious. I had the fish and chips and my husband had the Guinness stew. Both of our meals were very good, but all during our lunch all we could talk about were those scones, so we brought a couple home with us.

Server kept walking by us even when I tried flagging her down. Had a fish finger and about 5 frie, a condiment cup of coleslaw and a pickle spear, one pink cloud cocktail served in a smallglass...not much more than a shot...no garnishment whatsoever the food was 10 and the cocktail was 14 ( way too expensive for what I got). I was paying for 2, so double that plus tax. Lightnin Charlie was there. Entertainment was awesome. Topped the night off with a parking ticket where I saw no signs and apparently the other dozen cars parked there didn't either...we all got tickets. There was no close parking so be ready to walk. The place is nice, but not worth the money to me.

Love this place, everything about it! Not only is the food great and the service wonderful, but the specials are ridiculously inexpensive. I ordered a smash burger special (YUM!!) and thought they forgot to charge me for my drink. But it was included!

Very community-minded, too. Love that they host Conta dancing for the area.

Highly recommend this unique dining experience if you like Irish food or a great fish fry -- or a great smash burger!
