Tried to eat here. We came in, sat down, waited 35 minutes, and no one even talked to us. We even tried to wave down two waitresses, but they looked and just kept walking. I know they were busy, but 35 minutes is unacceptable. It looked like a great place, though.

Great atmosphere. Clean. Friendly staff. Amazing food. We had the Scottish eggs and the Ruben, both of which were phenomenal. They offer gaming tables and board/card games. They have darts and a pool table. Pretty neat place. We just saw it on our way through town and now we are discussing another trip to come back and visit.Parking: You can not park in the back.

We met the owner, Kelly, on our way in. He asked if this was our 1st time visiting. He asked where we were from. It was, indeed our 1st time to his establishment. The food we ordered was delishious! We had their famous "fish & chips" plate, yummy ?!!They has two musicians playing Irish music while we ate & that was wonderful as well!!!

I came in with a party of 6 and we got one drink with our server and that was the last we saw her . One of the people with our party had to go to the bar to get a drink and actually heard our server say, “I’m gonna pass this party to you(the bartender) because… yeah”. Like what does that even mean?!?!! We are not a difficult group of people. She just wasn’t a girls girl. And I felt like we were being watched the entire time, like they were expecting trouble out of us, which is not the case. Overall we won’t be back.

This place was talked about and boasted about a little more than it should have been. The food was good but not "Spectacular" it wasnt "Authentic" tasting, I feel like it was average. Of course everyone cannot be pleased, it is just not something I would go out of my way and drive 30 mins to go get. Pictured is Guiness Stew, Bangers and Mash and Fish and Chips.

Group of 6 friends gathered for a fun evening and it was! Food was good. Fish and chips or burger. Onion rings were so good. Scotch eggs were definitely something we had to try and we like them! Friendly staff.

Easter dinner was sublime. We finished it off with warm blueberry scones with butter. Servers and cooks are the best!Latest: St. Patrick's Day the corned beef was outstanding! Traditional Irish music and dancing made it a wonderful evening.Update: Had the new smashburger with cheddar on a brioche bun tonight and it was cooked to perfection. Our favorite hangout. We had a Reuben and bangers and mash. Even the coleslaw and peas were tasty. Phenomenal collection of games and the music was really entertaining.

They call it a gaming pub because you’re invited to play card games, board games ,etc…. We went there for St. Patrick’s day. We traveled from Boone to Johnson City to specifically have an Irish meal and beer. Parking on a busy day can be an issue and as newbies to this place, we circled the block several times and lucked out for a handicap spot (legally). We were met at the door by Sean and got a green bracelet (paper) to go in. Our server seated us (her name was Roxanne)-what an Angel! She took our order and came right back with the food. All in all, highly recommended for a fun evening out…Ps: wish I could post the whole video since the violin player was Irish dancing at the end of the bagpipe song. It’s over four minutes long!

Such a shame that only 5 stars were available for review...My wife, Mayra and I trotted in yesterday for fish and chips and Guinness...It was, in a word, SUPERB...and an exceptional value...The big bonus...??? The gracious owners...Keith and Holly McCoy who could not have been nicer nor more welcoming...This is an unpretentious, top quality jewel downtown Johnson City...we're heading back this weekend for dinner, Celtic music and some good, ol' Dublinesque Craic...no doubt it will become a weekly visit for us...So...Don't just sit there...go and enjoy yourself...you won't be sorry...Tell them Don and Mayra sent you...?Don and Mayra Kelly CorderoJohnson City, Tennessee
