What The If?

The volunteer coordinator is one of the most excellent, most natural leaders of a work crew who all work hard to make a dining experience special for all of whom they serve. An exceptional experience to eat at this wonderful place!!

The food has always been amazing but the compassion that we saw people experience today is beyond beautiful. Every person was treated with dignity and respect. Amazing place!

Best food ever not to mention deserts are scrumptious! Hands down the price , generous portions, and delightful crew are the best, not to mention they give back to the community. I am so thankful they’re here! I feel everyone should experience the love and hospitality of this cafe!!! OUTSTANDING

Wonderful place to visit. Went with a larger party for lunch, and didn’t disappoint. My party said the coffee was the best. Food was very yummy, and really fresh. Staff were friendly and attentive! Good food, great mission!

One Acre Café is an establishment that helps the community and homeless people with really good food. If you can't afford to pay for your meals you can work it off by helping with lite duties in the dining room kitchen or the garden or clean up around the outside & parking lot just whatever they may need you to do usually about 10 - 15 minutes helping them since they helped you It's a good place to sit & be waited on by a very friendly & professional staff. Restaurant is always clean & smells like home cooking.. it's a good thing they do. We enjoy going for lunch . My disabled son loves this restaurant... It's his favorite. We hope that when in Johnson City you'll visit One Acre for a wonderful meal & help support them & our community. You won't be disappointed.Kid-friendliness: Children need to be quite and well behaved. My son got sick in the bathroom on the floor a little & I didn't know it ..well next time we came in We were asked to get our food to go.. which mad me angry They shouldn't have done that. Put us in an awkward position.. my son is disabled & can't talk & loves this place.. & they ask me not to bring him inside. Feeling bad about that cuz it's not fair to my son. Sorry you all had to cleanup the floor I would have done it if I knew. But please don't discriminate cuz he's disabled .. he couldn't help it. I didn't want to mention it but I don't want that to happen again ... to anyone.Parking: Plenty of free parkingWheelchair accessibility: Has ramp for wheel chairs

A decent contribution for supporting the needs of the homeless in the area. It gets cold out there so, feed the homeless adults and children a warm, cozy meal!Kid-friendliness: They have a little library in the common area.

The quality and flavor of the food served here are amazing. It's also great to know that you are helping others when you buy your lunch here. We usually get the $8 medium plate with an entree and two sides as well as a $2 dessert. We have never been disappointed. The staff and volunteers are super friendly.
