Ok... The reviews vary wildly, so after having a conversation with the newish owner, let's set a few things straight.
Open Doors is great. If there's a line out the door and/or down the street (drive-thru) then service will be slow. They are a coffee shop that serves food, not a restaurant. If you're wanting to get something to eat that requires prep, ask if they have a backlog; it can save both you and the shop some trouble.
The current owner inherited much of the menu, the drive-thru, and several other quirks. They have a small kitchen and little refrigeration. Is that their fault? Kinda, I guess. They could just rebrand the whole thing and get rid of all that. But then everyone would claim they tossed out all the stuff people loved. Who knew running a small business could be hard...
At the end of the day, the place is great. Super friendly staff, community-oriented atmosphere, and great coffee at a highly competitive price. It's handicap accessible, has a nice deck, plenty of seating, and epic cinnamon rolls. 100% worth a visit 👍

The wait time for food is very bad. The dishes are simple yet you will probably wait an average of 20 minutes. I have ordered food here three times and each time have had to wait around 20 minutes. It’s ridiculous to wait that long for an egg biscuit or waffle. The coffees are fine and usually the order taker will prepare the drink immediately. The food service does not match the drink service and I would avoid it.

Absolutely epic spot about 2 minutes off of the highway. Service was spectacular; staff were friendly and helped us navigate the menu, offering suggestions about what to order, what was popular. What was their favorite. Menu was simple, but had great options. Arguably, the best breakfast burrito in my life. Cowboy Burrito, with carne asada protein. Pricing was unbelievable.
